We stayed in this Holiday Inn with our "granddog, Winnie." The room was clean and very comfortable even though it was designated as a pet room. It's was good halfway point for out trip up to Washington.

We were in town for fishing. And, initially, we'd planned to spend only Saturday night, then our plans changed and we needed another night. As a result, we had two different reservations--don't ask why we didn't modify the existing reservation... The reservations were booked into different rooms, and the staff helped check us in to both reservations, and we were able to stay in the same room, and not checkout, and back in.

We appreciate the extra effort by the staff to make our stay more pleasant.

The accommodations were clean, parking plenty. Exercise room had about 4-5 pieces of exercise equipment, some weights, a scale. No mats, and not much room if you need floor space.

We didn't have any meals.

We were welcomed with a young lady's smiling face at the desk , and got a awesome rate,I had to check out the handy cap rooms, so another young lady named Jessie I think it was took us and showed us the rooms on the first floor she was the light of our day, she was full of kindness, and very bubbly, just what I needed the day before going into the Hospital.
The room was very nice, quite, clean, and great beds. I give them 5stars.
And we are in our 70's.
Plus got a good report on my heart.

Room Tip: We were walk in's and got the very best you could ask for.

This is a nice hotel where I was expecting a lesser quality on all levels. However, as with all reviews, I go in with an open mind and let the staff and quality of the room set my experience. The lobby is open and bright, the ladies behind the counter were friendly and welcoming to all guests. The level of consistency was evident as I waited to check in and watched the staff treat each customer with the same level of care.

This is a one story hotel, so no footsteps above. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Venturing to the lounge/bar one encounters a few steps, not a big deal just to be aware. The bar is and surrounding area is comfortable and relaxing, a great place to unwind. The bar staff are awesome.

Even though this was an overnight stay I was throughly pleased and would recommend staying here for any occasion.

The hotel was pretty much what I'd expect from a Holiday Inn. It was a solid, three star property that neither exceeded nor disappointed. The room was satisfactory, as was the service and the overall impression of the property. I did get a free breakfast deal which gave you hot, made to order breakfast. Not great, but certainly far above the usual continental breakfast crap. The only disappointment was the pool. Having kids, a pool is always a must and I often book properties based on the pictures of the pool. Well, I can say the photographer must a have used a wide angle lens because the actual pool is far smaller than the pictures make it out to be!

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the lobby. This is a one story hotel a large property. We had a room at the...

A large one story property. Not foot treads overhead. I liked that. Very quiet, clean, easy to use heat/cooling system. Comfortable bed and fresh linens. The desk clerk was very helpful as my reservation was mishandled by Booking.com. Able to sort it out without a long wait. Breakfast is odd. Overpriced menu with a monetary credit. Coffee, two pieces of bacon, and a roll used up the seven dollar plus credit.

Dear calguyCalifonria,

Thank you for taking the time to convey your comments regarding your recent experience with us. We certainly work very hard to ensure our guests receive the very best service we can provide each and every day. Whilst we are pleased with your positive comments with the condition of our facilities and our staff, we regret that the breakfast was disappointing. We are continually striving to improve the hospitality we offer and comments from our guests are always welcome.

Again, thank you for your review and we hope you do choose to give us another opportunity to make your next stay as best as it can be.

Sincerely,

My nephew and I stopped here twice on our road trip from LA to Washington and we were happy with both times that we were there. The service we received at the front desk was great. Both times the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. On our way up, we ate dinner at their local restaurant and it was really good and though the service was slow at first, our waitress was great and apologized for the delay as she was the only one available at that time. It was a little later in the evening so it was fine. The TV wasn't working but it wasn't a big deal since we had to get up early the next day to get back on the road. I mentioned it to them the next morning and they apologized and said that they would be on it to fix for the next guest. On our way back down, we stayed again and this time I had a new pup with me and they're dog friendly. There's a $20 fee for each night and again we were happy with the front desk service and the room was clean and comfortable. Just note though that some amenities aren't consistent. The first time we stayed there, they had a fridge and a microwave which was convenient but the second time, no microwave which I was hoping for. Otherwise we had a really pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you make reservations through another service and you have a pet, make sure to call ahead of time...

We strive to provide the best possible service and experience and it is always great to hear from our guests on how we are doing. We are happy you found our helpful staff commendable. We are sorry for any inconveniences you experienced due to some aspects of our hotel amenities. Only half of our rooms do have microwaves, however if requested by the guest we can usually accommodate. We hope that should you find yourself in Redding CA again, that you will be staying with us.
