The park is very pleasant and educational. The exhibits are unique and feature local phenomena. Exhibits are updated frequently and offer extras such as local art.

“Family oriented attraction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

It is family friendly and the exhibits occasionally change to keep your interest. The butterfly exhibit was different in that you can walk through their living area. In the summer, it can be humid.

“Lovely Setting and Nice Exhibits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

We had enjoyed Turtle Bay before and were pleased to see new temporary exhibitions, as well as the old favorites. The Botanic Garden just across the wonderful Sundial Bridge is also splendid, with pathways accessible to wheelchairs. In fact, you can wheel all the way down to the Sacramento River!

“Great as usual”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

We stopped in while visiting grandparents on our reciprocal membership from Science Factory. (What an outstanding program)

I loved the get moving exhibit and was amused by the dog exhibit (most specifically the dog carrier from the 1800's.... Complete with muzzle and rear end cork )

I was happy to see the water works was open, my children enjoyed making dams and releasing the floodgates.

It is always fun to stop in and see the gopher snake that was hatched in my husbands room as a teen. Our daughters enjoyed that story :) they also liked putting on an animal puppet show for me and their grandma.

“Beautiful and fascinating locale.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

Always something new at exhibits. Wonderful sundial bridge and bike/hike park. Worth a visit. We are going to buy year-round passes, as locals.
