Great exhibits and great location near Sacramento River Trail and the Sundial bridge. Interactive displays geared towards kids.

“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

I live in Redding, so I always have a year pass. It is very educational for both kids and adults. They have exhibits that change through out the year. They have wild animals on the grounds that can no longer live in the wild because of damage to them. They put on an animal show, they have a huge avery that you can enter and feed the birds. I just love this place.

Wow went with the grandchildren. This is a must see place full of different things to see and do. Be prepared a bit expensive for a family, I was surprised .

“Great stop for learning the nature of Northern California”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

I've wanted to visit here for a few years and finally did this weekend. I really liked the fish tanks and animals on display. The play area in the Paul Bunyon Camp looks great. I wish the kids would have been on this trip to enjoy the park.

“Enjoyed an Afternoon Here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

This was our second visit to Turtle Bay Exploration Park. The first was a hot summer day where we just viewed the bridge and gardens. This time we spent more time on a comfortable spring day. Walked the gardens and enjoyed the museum displays.
