“O.K To Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2011

I travel a lot for business. This Comfort Inn is a good spot in Redding. Room is clean. Very quiet which I appreciate....
Also front desk was very friendly..
No complaints other than hallway/stair carpets need replacing or cleaned. Also room carpets (310)
could use a good cleaning (or replacement)
Good Value. I would stay here again...

Room Tip: Choose top floor...

“Adequate”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2011

Have stayed overnight in Redding many times while driving the I-5. Stayed over the Comfort Inn for the first time. Large room with strange furniture arrangement making for cramped quarters. Room not all that clean with musty smells. We had a balcony room to allow airflow. After check out I found the Inn assessed $100 because the room smelled of smoke. Called the Manager to discuss the fact we are non-smokers and the room was musty. Escalating issue to credit card company. I will stay elsewhere in Redding as there are plenty of hotels closer to the freeway.

“Quality for the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2011

this Comfort Inn is a very nice place to stay. We loved their indoor pool and spa. The rooms was spacey and nicely appointed. The free morning breakfast has a lot to offer as well. Very comfortable. Close to good resturants and attractions.

Room Tip: This is one place where you might want to choose the upper floors, which have a nice patio overlooki...

“Another excellent stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2011

This is the second time we have been to this hotel. Comfortable rooms, great having fridge/freezer and microwave in the room. We paid a few dollars extra for a balcony and well worth it as very hot weather! One negative was the receptionist who checked us in late afternoon (middle of the night our time) who despite us sending a request for adjoining rooms said that it was not on her computer and they didn't have any. We asked again if any came available would she let us know and she said none available. We checked next morning with Stephen on the reception and straightaway we had rooms allocated next to each other. He was really helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Breakfast excellent choice with hot choice every day as well as usual cereals and bread etc.

“Very nice stay; nice city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2011

We stayed here on the way from Reno and a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Our stay was in a king-bed room with a balcony and sitting area. In the middle of the room was a revolving TV that switched from the sitting area to the bed/balcony area. Interesting. We overlooked the mountains. Within walking distance was a Maria Callandar's restaurant, which was wonderful since we are from the midwest. Even though there were no eggs at the breakfast area, it was fine. Be sure and go to downtown Redding and visit the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay. It looks like a big sundial and is made of glass. There were some vendors, and be sure and get the fresh-squeezed lemonade. It's easy to drive there.

Room Tip: The king room with a balcony was a good deal.
