“On our way to Disneyland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2011 via mobile

The hotel was not what I expected on the outside but the rooms where awsome:-) the beds were comfortable and we had a sitting area in our rm. We traveled with our 2 kids and they loved the pool, but being 85 ouside made it refreshing..the breakfast was amazingly big compared to most. They had, waffels, fruit, assorted cereals, yogurt, eggs, sausage and pasteries..overall we rate this a 10. We have already made our reservation for on our way back home..thank u comfort inn for a great nites stay....also, (In n Out) hamburgers where awsome

“Excellent hotel in great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

If you are in Redding, this is a great place to stay. Very clean, quiet and large room with good services and a good rate. Having stayed at several Comfort Inn chain hotels, this is definitely one of the better ones, Be sure to see the Sundial Bridge and would recommend dining at Jack's Grill - a good steak place that has been in business since the 1930s.

“Better than most”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2011

Stayed here based on other reviews and was not disappointed. Received a very nice greeting at the front desk, and a room assignment in accordance with our wishes. We stayed on the backside of the hotel and the room was very quiet, but the hotel is far enough from the freeway to be much quieter than the typical situation in all rooms. The rooms are very large, and everything was clean and in good condition. Breakfast was OK, and there are lots of restaurants within a short walk for dinner. Wifi worked fine. We would definitely stay here again.

“Would probably look for somewhere else in Redding”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2011

We needed a reasonably priced place with 2 qeens and either a rollaway or a sofabed. They had rollaways that could be reserved for only $10 extra so we decided to try this place. It was fine: the beds were fine, the room was large, but the layout was wierd and the furniture was very worn looking. The hotel itself has a southern plantation look, which is a bit off-putting to me for a place in Northern California. The A/C worked, things were pretty clean and the front desk person was nice enough. The breakfast was very limited in quality items (microwave sausage patties and disks of "scrambled eggs" are not my style) so we had some coffee, juice, muffins and ate breakfast on the road later. Mostly, though, the breakfast room was much to small for the number of people staying in hotel and the overflow area, upstairs on 2nd floor landing, was only 2 tables. It was about what we expected but the stay was only average.
