“Could care less about customers”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

This is our second visit. Our first time, we had their version or drunk noodles, while the flavor was good, the spice level was not there. We ordered, between mild/medium, and it barely had a kick.

Today we decided to order the heat level at medium since our last experience seemed to indicate this was how to use their heat scale indicator. When our food arrived, (pad thai, and drunk noodles), to our surprise there was absolutely no spice at all especially on a level that is associated with thai cuisine whatsoever, even at mildly spiced.

We told the waiter there was no "spice" to our dishes, and he offered to bring us a spice rack, but we wanted our dish prepared as we ordered it. We were not rude at all or out of line. Big mistake. While he was gone, we knew they woild put so much heat in that we couldnt eat our food. And we were right. The food came back to our table so scorching, it was truly inedible.

No effort was made to correct this, and it wouldnt have been anything to add just a little more seasoning to please the customer, not overdo because something was sent back to the kitchen.

We immediately asked for our check, no apology was made, and we left with full plates of food left on the table. It must be nice to be doing so well in business to care less about customer service.

I will be telling everyone i know about the terrible treatment we received at this restaurant, while all we wanted was ourmfood prepared correctly.

“Pretty good, not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

We both agree,we've had better Thai. The female table busers were disinterested and basically not very friendly. I would give this restaurant another try, but don't think I'd recommend it just yet.

“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

We shared spring rolls (terrific) and Pad Thai (a bit spicy but good), and coconut ice cream. We enjoyed this restaurant and are happy some travelers we met at our hotel recommended this restaurant.

“It was pricey for the food we ate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Service was quick. We found it little bit on pricey side, and were surprised to see that tip was already added in the bill before it came to us. We were only 3 people. Dishes were average, restarant was almost empty.

“Huh?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

I do not understand all the good ratings that this restaurant has received. Maybe we came on a bad night, but still...our dinner was not good at all. We are very big fans of Thai food and have gone to many Thai restaurants, this was the worst we have experienced. Tough noodles (how do you even do that?!). I don't mean aldente, I mean chewy and tough. One of the curries we had was boiled water with questionable chicken, absolutely flavorless except for an odd whang to the chicken, the other curry was ok. The best restaurant in Redding? I hope for all of you that this isn't the case, just a bunch of people who don't know Thai...but even then I'm confused because people should know bad food when they eat it and our experience was BAD. Maybe a bad night (shaking head in confusion.)
