“Very pleasant owners and great price for a remodeled property!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

We have stayed many times over the last few years at this hotel and have always been well treated. Now they have also remodeled the rooms with new pillow top mattresses, which makes the experience even more pleasant. Always quiet and a good night's sleep. The owners are VERY helpful and accommodating.

Room Tip: This is a great basic hotel, at a great price, which is always very quiet. Basic breakfast!

I reserve a score of 1 for the very worst places...this is just barely a 2. The girl at the front desk was so friendly she got them a 2. Other than that, the room was clean but very out dated. Old bed, old TV and something bit me several times in the night. Breakfast consists of cereal and room temperature milk, room temperature orange juice and some bread. You could do much better for a comparable price somewhere else.

There were some minor things that added up to not-so-great experience:
- no bath towels and only 2 handtowels (in room for 4)
- coffee maker had coffee beans in the water tank part (clearly not washed or cleaned)
- carpet poorly vacuumed (or not at all vacuumed)
- hair in bathtub drain.

I guess the biggest issue was overall cleanliness.

Curtains were barely hanging, lamp shades cracked, stained chair, cracked tiles in bathroom, hardly any breakfast, but the bed was comfortable. Thankfully.

We reserved the suite for our family. When we got there they said they had just, that day, started renovating it. Really? You didn't look to see if it was reserved? The TV in the room they gave us didn't work so we had to get someone up to fix it. The bathroom was extremely dated. There are no nearby services to this hotel except for a gas station. Like someone else said, the breakfast was meager. I'd go elsewhere.

This was a Very Motel for me. When they did something right, it was very good. When they didn't.......

Pros:
The night manager was Very Nice, Very Friendly, Very Professional, Very knowledgeable, and she had a Very warm smile even at 10pm.
The King-sized bed was Very comfy.
The cost was Very reasonable.
The WiFi was Very useful.

Cons:
It was Very disturbing to have the curtains come off the wall when I tried to close them. Had to rehang them. Very annoying.
It was Very weird to find the cleaning staff had short-sheeted the king-sized bed.
The room is Very small, and Very oddly laid out,
The water pressure in the sink was Very low.
The entire place seemed Very rundown.
The woman running things in the morning was Very rude and Very obnoxious.
The "continental breakfast" was a Very poor excuse for breakfast. Two containers of cereal, one carafe of juice, five pieces of raisin bread, and two packages of instant oatmeal is Very pitiful indeed.

Now I realize that the majority of their business is either people needing to get off the freeway for the night, or amorous duos and trios looking for a place to get off at. In ether case, privacy and a soft bed is really all that's needed. Still, I've stayed at good Days Inns before, and this was a Very Questionable one indeed.
