This hotel was a gem! The property is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the tucked away feel of the Inn. There is just a couple of things that we experienced that was a little annoying. First of all, we stayed in room 173 and we must have been underneath a family with children, because for 2 of the 5 days of our stay we heard constant running back and forth, moving of furniture, and stomping. My husband was very annoyed by this. However, we loved our room so much that we put up with it. Thankfully, they left after the 2nd day of our stay! Secondly, We ordered in-room breakfast 3 of the 5 days of our stay. The first time we ordered everything was perfect! The 2nd and 3rd time we ordered our breakfast in-room they made mistakes with our order. This is very annoying considering how expensive it is to eat at this hotel. Also, there was one day when we decided to eat breakfast in the restaurant. We ordered our food and waited a bit too long for it to come out (around 30mins). However, there was another guest that sat at a table behind us that walked in about 10 mins after us. He ordered his food and was served his food well before we got ours. Not sure what that was all about. At the time the place was not busy at all. We felt a little slighted by this. However, overall our stay was good, and we may stay here again if we choose to come back to the San Diego area.
