“So happy to return for total relaxation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

The vibe is stunning; the views from the room are outstanding; walking the grounds is a great feeling; the breakfast is beyond exceptional; the pool and spa are perfectly located on the property.
Bring a nice bottle of your favorite or or or , sit outside on your balcony, and watch as the day becomes twilight and then becomes dark (except Full Moon evenings).
The perfect vibe to do nothing but enjoy the presence of self or family; this is a nice Paradise to enjoy!
So, lower your city voice, and let your other senses enjoy the presence of nothing but with everything; play hide and seek with your mate or day dream of nothingness...
btw, you will not go without here

From check in to check out our visit was fantastic. On arrival we were introduced to Neno, Bell staff who is just the perfect man for the job. He met us with the warmest of welcomes, explained the room & facilities so well & every time we thanked him for his great service he reminded us that this is the RC way. I even left my iPad in the car & he arranged for it to be retrieved & delivered to me at the pool.

The rooms are sensational, one of the best we've stayed in & everything you would expect from RC. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool & serene garden & the valley views were amazing. The fire pits were amazing too although a bit hot in 105 degs!

At both pools the service was very attentive & professional especially from Mr Murphy (first name escapes me). Food & drinks at the pool were out of this world, particularly the grilled shrimp & pitchers of Margheritas. What amazed us was the very reasonable price of each item considering you were in a RC.

We ate in the restaurant one night & had OK burgers. Maybe the new steak house will up the level of food being offered. The only gripe we had was that we selected a bottle of wine which was no longer stocked & were assured that the replacement was of a similar price & quality. The quality was good but the price was 40% more than the original bottle. Didn't want to appear a Scrooge so didn't say anything!

All in all this is the best place to stay in the PS & RM area. We have tried others but nothing competes with the RC. If we are back in the area it will be the only place we stay from now on.

This is a lovely hotel. Everything is new and pretty, and the staff are the best. Every single request was either anticipated or cheerfully met. I am not exaggerating. I will be back as soon as I have a chance. If you can get a room with an outdoor patio, you may not have as much of a view but it is great to be able to sit outside at night. Also, the room service breakfast was great, as was the spa. And a 24 hour fitness room. Perfect stay.

Room Tip: I was on the first floor near the adult pool, and loved it. It is near the spa and all the first flo...

Great property south of Palm Springs. Fantastic spacious rooms and views. All the amenities expected from a Ritz Carlton. Comfortable beds. Meeting facilities and food were outstanding. I had one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life in their restaurant for lunch. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. Great service. A car is recommended if you are staying here. Only valet parking is available at $30 a night. No self parking.

Just got back from a two night stay to check out the recently reopened hotel and it did not disappoint. I had stayed twice in the past when it was The Lodge and prior to that the RC and always loved this gorgeous location so after many years of closure it's nice to revisit this mountaintop oasis and have an upscale desert option. Our room was nicely appointed, very spacious and well laid out with a beautiful mountain view. Beds were a little firm but comfortable, Nespresso machine in the room, beautiful and spacious bathroom, attentive housekeeping and best of all really terrific service all around the property. Everyone could not have been nicer. They make you feel like a rock star. Even the concierge sent dessert to our table when we ventured out to Mastro's for dinner one night. We ate two breakfasts and one dinner at State Fare (the second restaurant to be a steakhouse has not opened yet) and all meals were great - lots of good healthy and delicious things to choose from. A couple minor issues not even worth mentioning were dealt with right away. Despite the intense heat (super hot with humidity leftover from the Baja hurricane) we spent all of Tuesday at the pool and with temps hovering at 110 you never would have known with all the misters and plentiful umbrellas which provided much needed shade. Brian, our pool attendant, was so amazing and attentive, constantly refreshing water pitchers, adjusting umbrellas throughout the day, suggesting a great salad for lunch (delicious chinese chicken salads). Though it's low season and the hotel pool and restaurant were probably at their lowest occupancy, i do hope they can keep up with such terrific service when high season kicks in. I'd hate to think they were top of their game simply because the hotel was uncrowded. In any case, I will definitely want to revisit on my next desert trip. And i love the fact that they've expanded so there's also an adult only pool option which is nice when crowds set in. Oh and a beautiful spa and gym facility was added to the property in a separate building.

Room Tip: We liked being on the top floor facing the mountains but it might be nice as well to have a patio ro...

We stayed here for two nights this past weekend after our trip to Cabo got cancelled due to Hurricane Odile. This is a spectacular resort! I didn't know what to expect but the service is excellent and property is gorgeous. We stayed in a Valley View room and booked the mid week Indulgence package which has a great value. I loved the fire pits in all of the rooms below lit up at night. The adult pool was great and the service was spot on. Our server Brian said he was "at our beck and call" and that was so true. We had breakfast and dinner at State Fare. Breakfast was really yummy. Overall we were thrilled with our experience and can't wait to return!

We spend 3 nights at this beautifuly renovated resort last weekend. It was amazing. All the staff and management was excellent, attentive and very helpful.
The property is beautiful, especially at night with all the fireplaces lit and pretty lights everywhere.
Breakfast and dinner at State Farm restaurant was excellent and the weekend breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of amazing food to choose from. The wait staff was super friendly and made us feel very at home here.
The bar was lively at night with some live music on Friday and Saturday.
We had a ground floor king room with a private patio and fire pit outside. The room was beautiful, brand new and super comfy and had everything we needed. Comfy sheets, towels, bath products and an espresso machine. Free bottled water in the room every day as well.
There are 3 nice pools to choose from; a small kids pool, main pool and a more quiet adult pool. All three have full towel and drink/food service. There is a jacuzzi as well with a beautiful view.
The decor of this new resort is beautiful. They did an amazing job renovating and attention is paid to all the details. All the staff was amazing and we will definitely be back!
I went to the spa for a facial and the treatment was great! Nice spa with sauna, hot tub, steam room and some great products to use. You can easily spend a few hours here and relax.
Ps we travelled with our 13 month old daughter and she had a great time as well. The staff was so sweet to her and did everything to make our and her stay fantastic! We had a nice crib in the room with a goody bag for her, all very sweet.
Thank you Ritz Carlton staff and management for an amazing weekend! We love to come back soon for another relaxing time :)

Room Tip: We had the ground floor room with patio and private fire pit. Absolutely worth the upgrade. Our room...
