I thought it was over rated, but my husband and I gave it a try. Steak is delicious. I had salmon which was just as good. We are going again for inlays anniversary in October. Try their old fashion. It's loaded!

“High End Chain Steak House, High Prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

Our group has gone to Flemings the last three years we've come down to the desert. It's a high end chain steakhouse with all the trappings one would expect of an establishment of this calibre. The ambience was lush, the place was jumping as you would expect on a Saturday night. Our caprese salad with tomatoes, buratta cheese, red and yellow beets, was excellent. The bone-in ribeye was thick, served medium-rare as ordered, very tasty, and expensive at $49.50, but we knew it would be big enough to split. Another couple in our party also split a steak, which is not an unreasonable strategy with entrees in this price range. One of our friends gave two thumbs up to the lamb chops, but her husband thought the ahi tuna steak was too spicy. The mushrooms, sautéed corn, and onion rings were our sides and were excellent, although our waiter, Francisco, apparently did not hear the onion ring order and had to scramble to get them out before we finished our meal. Corkage was $20 per bottle, not unexpected. We felt that the service was almost too quick, with dessert menus placed on our table before anyone had finished their entrees. Was he trying to turn the table one more time? Kinda felt that way. With a meal that averaged $75 per person, we felt that we did not need the bum's rush. Comparable to Ruth's Chris, Flemings is great for special occasions, but we may try one of the other steakhouses next time we're down here.

“Great special dinners”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We know this is a chain steak house but it is a superb place for special dinners we were there on Sunday and decided to have their Sunday Prime Rib special. This starts with your choice of salad and I had the wedge. The iceberg lettuce was cold and crib and was accompanied by a large bacon strip and a slice of blue cheese as well as a blue cheese dressing. It was literally a meal in itself. My wife had the Caesar Salad and raved about it. I went for medium rare and got a perfect pieces of prime rib with sautéed mushrooms while the wife got an end cut with the garlic mashed potatoes. This is served with three sauce including a horse radish that is creamy without the killing heat that you sometimes find restaurants giving you. The service was attentive and the Martinis we had were were perfect and served in what we like to call a small bucket. I finished with some fresh berries and cream and my lady had the carrot cake, neither desert disappointed. Now comes the good part- you got all of that - excluding cocktails- for under $40! If you are near this place on a Sunday you absolutely have to give the special a try.

“Great Happy Hour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Decided to check out happy hour based on positive reviews. A bit hesitant as we are more casual and the place looked a bit posh. Got there at 10 to 5:00 when the bar opens. Grabbed chairs at the bar and immediately given ice water and home made chips to nibble on - impressed! Had a couple of cocktails for $6 and the burger, ravioli and flatbread we ordered were all excellent from the hapy hour menu. The waiter was great - efficient and really nice. The place filled up right at 5:00 so be early - it s worth it!
