After spending 4 nights at this resort last february, I felt like we were living on the set for the James Bond movie 'Moonraker': there was the constant, inevitable sight and sound of those little golf carts moving around the resort complex, driven by the various support personnel associated with Mission Hills. Noone who worked there seemed to walk from location to location, just the carts. Included were the various couples/families staying at the resort subjected to the 'voluntary' 90 minute tour by one of the numerous sales agents, desparately trying to convince us of the wisdom in purchasing a time share. The resort itself ended up seeming like an afterthought. In fairness, the rooms are decent, the restaurants good, the grounds pretty, the pool area very inviting. We played the Gary Player signature golf course which didn't disappoint. The staff was earnest in their desire to please. The whole experience felt somehow a little empty and, for my tastes, a little too 'corporate'.
