“It's Denny's (with better furniture)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2012

Expect fare like meatloaf and chicken-based pastas here. The service is good and friendly and the costs are low. That may explain why the senior crowd shows up every night to take advantage of the 'special.' It's one notch above Denny's or Perkin's.

“Awesome food at a GREAT value”

Directly across the parking lot. Good homecooked style meals at a very reasonable price. The chocolate chip cookies are a MUST!

“Not a chain. Family friendly.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2012

Very nice family place with standard American menu. Nightly dinner specials. Very affordable. Had a sirloin blue cheese salad. Only the wife makes it better.

“Be careful what you ask for...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2012

Brookfields is a decent family restaurant. My folks treated me there for my birthday recently with a few family members and invited guests. Though past experiences there have been satisfactory (especially breakfast), the special that particular night was Beef Stroganoff. Two from our party ordered it. Believe me, that was no beef stroganoff. They simply took their Beef Burgundy dish, squirted a little sour cream on top and, voilá, beef stroganoff. Not sure if that was just an ignorant chef or a management decision in order to save money but both in my party were disgusted. They didn't dare send it back since everyone knows what low-paid chefs are capable of when someone rejects their food.
