“Easy to see, harder to find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

If you are heading East on highway 50, this restaurant is easy to see on the right side. Unfortunately, by the time you see it, you’ve already passed the Hazel Ave exit that you should have taken. The next exit is a little ways away, and then you need to backtrack onto westbound 50 to Hazel. The restaurant itself is back behind some businesses and a trailer park, quite a ways from the road, but there are signs.

We enjoyed our dinner. Note that when we were there they had a special deal where kids eat free on Thursdays, but the portion was pretty small. We like the all-you-can-eat salad and beans, and the twice-cooked potato was great. For dessert we tried the deep fried apple pie, but we didn’t think it was as good as regular apple pie.

“The Best Steaks In The World”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

I just love this place. Really great atmosphere, good service and absolutely the best steaks I have tasted anywhere in the world. I went there with a couple of friends from work. They had a lot of specials on the menu which my friends took and couldn't stop saying "mmmmm".
The 14oz Ribeye was done to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. I washed this down with a cold Guinness and we all shared a "Deep Fried Apple Pie" desert that was fantastic.
This is a great place to eat, great service and great steaks.

“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

This sis a very good restaurant in Rancho Cordova. The food is excellent. I had Pate's special which included a steak and a beverage for $17. They also offer a two for $56 which includes a dessert and starter. We passed on that - too much food for us. They have an all you can eat salad which is nice. But what was especially good was the server. She was one of the best in the whole Cattleman's chain. We always eat here when int he area. The hard part is getting there if you are not familiar with the area. Get off on Hazel turn left on Folsom. Then you enter a mall parking lot. You go all the way through the lot to the back end. They do take reservations.

“Did Not Disappoint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

Staff was very helpful in planning a special occasion for a very busy night. They worked with me to try and make it as ideal and simple as possible, considering the size of our party and the night of the event (New Years eve). All things considered, it was great. Service was really good and the food was awesome. Best steak i'd had in years. Worth the price. Word of advice....bring a big appetite or be prepared to take leftovers home.

“Bring Your Appetite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

If you enjoy gigantic hunks of red meat, this is the place for you. We ate in the slaoon part of the building to take advantage of the giant screen TV for Monday Night Football. We all shared a sampler that included ribs, potato skins, onion rings and chicken wings and all of them were prepared well and served promptly. Their signature steaks were all cooked as ordered and delicious. There was so much for dinner we didn't have room for dessert. A little hard to find, but worth the hunt.
