“Old-fashioned relaxation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Your family will love a picnic or stroll in Old Poway Park. There are giant, old oak trees giving a lovely shaded sanctuary feel. There's a shallow creek that meanders around for the kids to watch for tadpoles. Small, level, quiet and easy to walk around. Don't want to bring a picnic? The Hamburger Factory is right there serving great food (breakfast, lunch and dinner - not just hamburgers!)

“Old Poway Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Great place for family picnics and group photos. During summer concerts are held outside too. Great restaraunt (The Hamburger Factory) with best burgers and the only place I ever order baby back ribs!!! They fall off the bone! Park had train run by volunteers on weekend for the little ones. It is a great center for Poway. Running creek bridges, climbing trees (not really but branchy for great family shots).

“Lovely location for photo opportunities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Beautiful park in center of Poway. Saturday morning Farmer's Market, the railroad, a picnic, a bit of shopping in the cute boutiques ... Makes for a fun couples or family outing. The Hamburger Factory offers reasonably priced burgers, breakfast and dinner for all ages.

“not so old”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

this is a great park. It has a working train that gives train rides on saturdays and a farmers market on saturdays. We love to ride our bikes to the park and eat at the hamberger factory!

“Country Wedding in the Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Last summer I attended a country-themed wedding held at Old Poway Park. The grounds were beautifully kept and the staff of the Park was extremely helpful. The trains with the small depot added the old time feel and the big oaks and creek added the country element.
