“See for yourself”

Great wide open beach not too crowded. We like to walk our dogs and take in the beauty that surrounds us.

“Long Drive. Long Beach.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

It takes awhile to get out here from Pt Reyes Station but there is so much room to play. Lots of sand, dunes and waves. Dress in layers as the weather varies greatly. Porta Potty type bathroom at the smaller parking lot.

“Coast Trail”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This coast trail leads down to the beach, and on a sunny day the easy route takes you through rolling moundy hills, thick forests, a twinkling fairy land of bogs and on to sand dunes that run on forever. It begs a picnic when you reach the beach and before you set off on a gentle return.

“secluded beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

This is a great beach to walk on. Good parking area. Little hike to get down and pass over the dunes. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on the leashes! Vast open scenery, crashing waves! Beautiful day all around!!
