Description: Located in the picturesque West Marin town of Point Reyes Station, Osteria Stellina offers a delicious, intimate, farm-to-table dining experience. Known for our strictly local and seasonal cuisine, we strive to showcase the bounty of West Marin on every plate. Our ingredients are sourced from the surrounding regions many farmers, ranchers, and fisherman; each dish reads like a sophisticated blue plate special, comprised of what's close and plentiful on a given day. The result is a creative, clean, farm fresh menu we like to call "Point Reyes Italian". Osteria Stellina's daily lunch and dinner menus include house made pastas and bread, organic salads and soups, pizzas, sustainable meats and seafood, an array of satisfying desserts, and a carefully edited and affordable wine list featuring local vineyards and Italian favorites. Local beer is on tap and additional beers are available by the bottle. The restaurant's gracious dining room is ideal for diners of all ages and any occasion.

“Delicious and exquisite blend of flavors.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

Friendly staff, amazing food. Wonderful atmosphere and experience. Recommend for families and all!! Delicious and exquisite blend of flavors. The bruschetta was fantastic, who would have thought that chuck peas and marinated onions would make such an awesome array of flavors. Children's marinara one of the best I have had... Terrific overall experience, staff very friendly and helpful!

First we had the Stellina salad the 6 baby radishes were so small they could not be seen. Of the dour salds none had cheese as desceibed and onky two had the radishes!!! The main course was terrible we had 5 different dishes and the presentation was very poor and unappetizing . Definitely find another resturant. This came very highly recommended so it could if been an off night ...

“Positively delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

We ate dinner in Pt. Reyes Station twice and both times at Stellina. After our first meal, we simply couldn't resist returning. Everything was top quality: I often judge a restaurant, first, by its bread. Here it was crusty and chewy and perfect. We had the mussels in an irresistible sauce-- with a bit of sausage for bite; beet and heirloom tomato salad; then the wild mushroom pizza. Perfect ingredients, thin and crunchy with very concentrated flavors. The warm chocolate cake was so wonderful I was tempted to lick the plate. Service was very attentive on night one and a bit distracted on night two. Not a problem as it was a fabulous dining experience.

“Top Quality Italian Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

We had heard about the Osteria and arranged a route that would take us from Sacramento by it for lunch. The quality of the food was excellent and the dining room was high quality. We had a window table to watch people coming and going from Point Reyes National Seashore with pleasure. My wife and I had half a dozen of local raw oysters, found the seafood cocktail sauce uninteresting but the champagne mignonette was excellent, and the taste very good. The meals the three of us tried included a GBD sandwich (golden, brown and delicious) with three cheeses and thought it was delicious. The Penne with pine nuts and garlic got top approval as well. The Seafood Stew was a mix of mussells, shrimp, clams and fennel sausage which were a very nice and unusual mix; however, the sauce was between mild and bland. Wines were very good, and the service was excellent as well as friendly. Recommended.
