“No need for pepper”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

I had the chicken fried steak. It had a lot of pepper. The gravy was only so so. My daughter had the French toast and liked it

“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2011

Have had an early lunch here a couple times now. My recommendations are either the Club Sandwich or the French Dip Sandwich. Both of them are huge.....eat 1/2 and take the other 1/2 home or split with someone. It not just the size though. Both have lots of flavor. The Club has the usual ingredients, but for some reason has lots of flavor. Maybe because the do not skimp. The French Dip has great beef flavor. You could easily eat it with out the Au Jus .

“Always gets voted one of Pleasanton's 'Best Of'”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2011

Always crowded, great food, prices and portions.
The breakfast plates are overwhelming, but I guess the lunch plates are too. Everything is good, never had a bad meal. They have daily specials not on the menu. My fav special is Thursday's breakfast burritos stuffed with hash browns. Their Club sandwich is huge and off the hook. In fact a lot of times I'll order that for breakfast, sub fruit bowl for fries , and save half the sandwich for lunch, just because you can't eat it all. Highly recommended place. You may have to wait, but well worth it.
