“Shadow Cliffs”

Avoid summer weekends. Traffic can be backed up out of the park. There are so many geese and the sand is polluted with their aftermath! Be sure to shower off after swimming. The lake is really dirty.

“Nice place to spend the day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Nice because it is close to Pleasanton and Livermore. Wish they woule be able to get the waterslides up and running again, its great to have those closer to us instead of going to San Jose or Concord. Cross your fingers

Great lawns, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking... A little bit of everything, you don't even need to pack a picnic, they have a snack bar.

“This place is for the dogs!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

We go to Shadow Cliffs with our dog and we all have a good time. There are plenty of trails for bikes and walking, and there is a large body of water where the dogs can play and swim. There is also a water park for the kids, a beach with paddle boats, fishing, picnic areas. Definitely no shortage of things to do here.
