Went for dinner on Saturday night arriving shortly before 5PM and were our choice of tables. Server came by with menus, wine list and greeting. Ordered drink/wine at same time we placed order for food. Cascada portions are very generous so we skipped the appetizer round because that can be a meal in itself. I had already had their Rack of Lamb (outstanding) so tonight I ordered the Ribeye medium-rare. My spouse order the beef fajitas. Drinks arrived and shortly thereafter our 2 large plates/platters of food. My ribeye was done perfectly and was serve with mixed vegetables and potatoes and my spouse had an equally large meal that was also excellent. Neither of us could finish the meal so we loaded up the doggie box and had the makings for homemade soup the next night. Although portions are large, Cascada’s prices are not. We escaped for $60 which included the 2 meals, 2 drinks and a 18% tip. I think they’re the best in Placerville and after 3 or 4 visits we’ve never been disappointed. Parking is on the street and that can be a problem at certain times of the day.
