At first, this hotel sounded like a great idea...Most of the staff was plesant and professional,it's close to the beach and downtown area, it's decently priced for what you think you get. Typical " Inn" right?
First off, they authorize extra money on your account, without telling you or stating that they will do so. I found this odd?
Upon arriving, we noticed while the maids are cleaning that they just string the blanket and comforter over a chair in the room
(the chairs are filthy) they change only the sheets, and said the blankets and top bed cover they don't change but maybe once a week. They did change them at our request however had we not watched them cleaning the rooms we would have been using the same blanket as the previous guests. ( they say this is standard in the hotel industry)
The room isn't very clean, there were stains of somesort on the bed skirt and whomever painted the room left paint on the bed skirts.
The maid will come in the room unless you don't put the do not disturb sign on the door, however that sign also says maid service on it, so you better hope it doesn't get turned around. When they come in, they wont clean, they'll just replace the towels... They did not even make our beds.
The place is super noisy- At night, when you come in you would be lucky to get a parking spot unless you park in some back parking lot that is not lit up and it looks like the ghetto. No internet in our room, I was told you have to go out of your room and use the sky room or plug in through the phone, but who does that ? I had to use the only plug I could find near the bed, but the cover on the outlet is almost off... The chairs on the balcony are broken and well, overall it's not clean, updated or maintained.
IF you stay here I recommend spending little time in the room and a lot of time out at the beach that is steps away...
The manager would not call me back after several attempts to reach him, but he did have his front desk manager call. She did not claim to take much responsibility for our complaints. We were in room 319.
