We stayed at this hotel over Mother's Day weekend. The check-in process was fast and easy and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. We paid a little extra for a panoramic view room, however, we were disappointed that the view overlooked the pool with the ocean far in the distance.

The hotel provided a manager's reception of beer/wine/soda and a hot breakfast. The hot breakfast wasn't very good, but there were several options to choose from.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but wouldn't upgrade to the panoramic view next time.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The quality is just as it was when it first opened. Reserved a basic room for 2 nights, with the AAA rate. Upon arrival, around 8 pm of our first night to check in, they upgraded us to a 2 room suite at no extra charge. Very friendly and accommodating to our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 2). The rooms were large and very clean, and every staff member we happened across during oiur 2 night visit was friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area. It never hurts to ask for a room upgrade or a cheaper rate if they are available.

“NO LATE CHECKOUT, not worth the price”

Mission Inn of Pismo Beach

Don't stay here if you like sleeping in on checkout day.

Checkout is 11am sharp. Checkout at 11:01 and they will charge you for late checkout (half a day's rates) or so I was told. On top of that in-room checkout was not available.

Stayed here for the weekend. Wasn't worth the price of $160 a night. You can hear people walking above you if you are in one of the lower level rooms. Hotel was nice and clean, but for $160 you can do a lot better in the 5 cities area.

Just returned from a few days r and r and visiting in Pismo Beach, Where we stayed at the Mission Inn. The location was great for us , not on the beach, just off the freeway and close to all shopping areas.
The hotel itself is rather new and very well appointed they have left nothing overlooked for the needs of the traveler. the room and the bathroom are separated by a small closet and vanity area with full length mirror and extra sink . Bathroom was spacious and had clothing hooks and plenty of fresh fluffy towels and wash cloths.Room itself had King dize bed two night stands, two sitting chairs, corner table, desk complete with reachable outlet and internet connections ( for those of you who do not have wireless cards New TV , safe, microwave and refrigerator along with the armoir. There was no charge for the internet usage and the wireless worked There was no charge for the internet connections and it workd very well.
I must say this is one very clean clean clean hotel. there was not a speck of dust or dirt to be found anywhere!.
Upon arriving the check in was a bit slow but then we learned that there were only two clerks on duty and it was getting to the busy time and one clerk was new. Oh what the heck we got checked in then went up stairs for complimentary appetizers and a glass of wine for me and a beer for my sweetie. This night they have swedish meatballs for appetizers and mixed nuts .( every day was something different) Every morning was a hot buffet breakfast included in your room rate. It was not to bad but some foods that were to be hot were actually not to warm, chafing dishes oh well.
the over all experience was very good, the beds were comfortable and we had extra pillows ( I mean real pillows not those flat pieces of rock you get most places.) the personnel were f riendly the pool and fitness area was spotless. the noise from the freeway was nil even though we were on freeway side. I would definately give thsi hotel the thumbs up for anyone wanting a good clean place to stay with a lot of nice amenities.

We recently did a day trip down to SLO/Pismo area and decided to stay at the Mission Inn. It is a very new hotel with nice big rooms.Blackout curtain is great!!! We stayed in room 341 (deluxe room with panoramic view). The room charge includes complimentary wine/beer in the evening and a full breakfast in the morning. The only downside is that the hotel is right off the 101 ( facing the freeway) and the only view you get is of the Pismo Outlets.Noise was not a problem for us. Luckily we knew we were away from the beach anyway, so this was not a major drawback for us. Very kid and senior friendly hotel. If you not looking to stay on the beach this is a nice alternative. We stayed during the week and used our AAA discount.
