Great experience! Our fourth visit in two years, we love it here. Staff is friendly and goes out of their way to please. View from our ocean front room is better than I experienced in far away islands. It is hard to believe it is 3.5 hours drive from LA and it feels like you are on a different world.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. My daughter and son-in-law booked us a one bedroom unit for a little Christmas Eve /Christmas Day getaway with them. They had a two bedroom that they shared with son-in-laws parents. The room was so beautiful, with a balcony view of the pool and ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Grounds are gorgeous and there are walkways along the ocean. We hope to be able to return, soon!

Our recent return to Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa after several years away was a delightful homecoming. Erica Coppola facilitated two roomy suites for our extended family to spend an post-Christmas celebration together, then arranged another suite for our distant cousins to spend the last day of our visit with us from Chicago. The large and well-stocked kitchens allowed my daughter and I to cook up a storm and entertain the rest of the family who live in SLO in style. Our grandaughters spent their time in the pool, while some of us walked the beach, spotting seals surfing with the humans, and then delighted in the tide pools at low tide. Finally, we were spoiled by our nephew, Collin Tharp, who gave us royal treatment at the extravagant Lido bar. Easy parking enhanced this whole adventure. We'll be back!

This is really a condo resort, not a hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The views from the ocean front rooms are nothing short of spectacular and sleeping to the sound of the nearby surf is out of this world. Staff is well trained, friendly and helpful.
