Our family recently completed a two week trip around the western US and finished up our trip in Pismo Beach. We were about to start our long, multi-day drive back home, and we wanted to top off the last real night of vacation with a special dinner. Rosa's was listed as recommended by the hotel we were staying in, and my husband recalled hearing a co-worker say it was a nice place for dinner, so we got a little dressed up and headed over. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable though the tables are a little close together. We had the choice of sitting on the porch (which was enclosed because the weather was cool) or indoors, so we ate in the regular dining room. We were a little close to other diners but not terribly so. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with suggestions from the menu. The menu is huge and had everything we could imagine wanting from an Italian restaurant and lots of things we hadn't even heard of. Our family ordered a variety of dishes (lasagna, beef ravioli, eggplant parmigiana), and everything was delicious. We topped off our dinner with yummy tiramisu and coffee. The experience here was first rate all around. The food was tasty, the service was good, and the dining room was comfortable to be in.If I'm ever in Pismo Beach again, I'll be wanting dinner at Rosa's again. It was the perfect "cherry on top" of our vacation.
