“Unexpectedly charming!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013 via mobile

Went here with stand and friends. Ordered a few different dishes but mine was crispy tacos. DELICIOUS. And the chips and fresh salsas were great. One spicy one mild but both very fresh. It gets crowded....and I recommend going hungry. Doesn't look like much from the outside....and had doubts...but honestly, will DEFINETLY go back. Great Mexican, reasonable prices and good service. Muchas gracias!

“Mexican food with a song”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

My family and I went to Mi Pueblo Taqueria on Petaluma Blvd in Petaluma for dinner. The restaurant's walls are covered with brightly painted scenes of life in a Mexican village. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the place jam-packed with diners and would be diners lined up inside and overflowing into the parking lot. Within a short time we were seated and while deciding what we wanted to eat, a strolling musician serenaded us playing his guitar and singing Mexican songs It was a total delight.

Our food was served fairly quickly and was absolutely delicious. The choices are typically Mexican. There are several choices of hot sauce, hot, hotter and hottest! No kidding! You can either add the sauce to your meal or bypass it altogether.

The strolling musician passed by our table again and sang another song. My granddaughters were a little shy when he sang to them, and blushed and giggled. It was a fun evening!

Food is excellent and the prices were family friendly. They also have take-out food.

“Mexican taquitos the best my son has ever tasted.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Tiny restaurant but worth the wait. Many customers ordering take-out. My dinner was delicious. A shrimp and mexican pepper dish a favorite of our waitress. Salsa and pico de gallo excellent.

“one of our favorites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

WE have eaten here numerous times. It is one of the most popular mexican restaurants in town. The fajitas are fabulous, and generous enough that you have some for lunch the next day!

“A pleasant surprise.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

Took friends out for dinner and dined here at their suggestion. So glad we did. We started with the Shrimp Quesadilla appetizer and there was plently for the four of us to share. We left with a new recipe to add to our Quesadilla recipe collection. It was delicious with plenty of large shrimp and cheese and tasty flavors. The Sangria was good, too. Honestly, can't recall the entrees ordered, except for the very large burrito that our friend ordered and took home the leftovers for two more meals. Definitely, would return if we are visiting Petaluma again.
