“Easy going late night comfort food deliciousness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014 via mobile

Fantastic, open late and ridic delicious. Lobster mac n cheeses seriously good. Fried organic chicken n waffles w homemade jam had the greatest seasoning and batter and was juicy as. Tacos meant to be grand. Super friendly bar staff. Beers were mostly Belgian/German style Cali breweries with not many IPAs but the red seal north coast makes a good addition. Well worth the trip.

“Too small portion and expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

portions are very small, and expensive, 9$ à little tomatoes salad. The restaurant server wasn't pleasant. It has been the worst place during my trip in usa.
To explain the small portion, the server says : it's tapas style. I live close to the spain, tapas is cheaper, 5$ max and when you order, you re recommended to take 2 or 3 portions.

“Great food, atmosphere, incredible value and extremely convenient.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

UnderStaffing is the only drawback but they are making great strides to meet the growing demand. Must tries include any random night there are different versions of deviled eggs, fried chicken and waffle, pork belly served on a rice paddy, or the speakcheesy cheeseburger. Coffee, beer and wine. Bring a friend or come alone its always a rewarding decision to stop in.

“Hits the spot after wine tasting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

If you've spent all day delicately sampling a variety of wines, then why wouldn't you feel inspired to do the same for dinner? This restaurant was a great choice for ending a great day of wine tasting. Since it wasn't quite summer yet, outside seating was perfect (they even have heat lamps for when it does get a little chilly). It is a very small restaurant, but we didn't wait long for a table (10 minutes tops), but you should prepare yourself to sit closely to other tables/parties. I would recommend making reservations especially in the summertime. I think this is a local hot spot.

The menu offers a great variety of plate sizes and sadly the "small plates" section is what used to be a regular sized portion about 10 years ago. For me, it was the perfect portion. It's not currently on their menu since they have a summer menu out, but I ordered a grilled chicken with a squash, asparagus and tomato ensemble sautéed in a lovely and light wine sauce with capers. Very good. I and my group also sampled the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Speakeasy's Taco Trio and Croquet Madame. Other than my dish the Lobster Mac was my favorite! After drinking wine all day, it was nice to see a great selection of beer.

Overall, a very clean, light and delicious menu. If I lived closer I'd try their summer menu also.

“Flavors and ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We had dinner on a Saturday night and were lucky to get a table. There is a good selection of appetizers, entrees and small plates as well as great selection of local beers on tap. The portions were just right for us (although some might find then small). We had the salmon and hanger steak which were both excellent. The only negative would be that we were served the main course before finishing our appetizers. It is a small but cozy and friendly place.
