“Foreverland Show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

The Mystic is conveniently lcoated in downtown Petaluma and perfect for smaller concerts. Many places to eat are located nearby if you choose not to eat at McNear's next door. Although the venue is smaller we had plenty of room to dance and manuever for cocktails.

I have been to many such clubs across the country, and this place ranks at the top of my list for seeing and hearing musical acts, food is pretty good and they have an admiral selection of brews

“Always Fun”

Great size and sound for a pretty intimate show! Pretty much any seat in the house is good. The balcony section near the sound guy is a great spot.

I love this place to see a live band, plenty of room to dance, or sit if you prefer, good pricing, good drinks, good food, if you go to the resturaunt next door... great ambiance, good eclectic crowd! Never had a bad time here.. xx00

“Oversold and overcrowded”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2012

We went to see Marriane Aya Omac and Joan Baez. Bought general admission tickets well in advance. Got to the theater early and waited in line. When we got to the door we were told standing room only was available. Not a seat left. Standing and sitting on the floor room was absolutely packed. We heard that folding chairs on the dance floor had been removed to be able to increase attendance (read revenue). I'd bet that the overflow crowd exceeded the fire marshal standards. The concert was very good, the sound system is fine, great chemistry between Omac, Baez and the audience. Too bad it was spoiled by greed and poor management. We'll never return to this venue.
