“Amazing for Golfers and Non-Golfers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

Travelled here for a family/golf trip for 4 days.

The Lodge is INCREDIBLY beautiful. The views are breathtaking.

Service from the front door, check in, concierge, spa and golf pros was 10/10.

The Spa is AMAZING. Yes it's expensive but having a massage in a room with an open fire cannot be beat.

Beautiful walks and bike rides on 17 Mile Drive are easy from The Lodge.

Food and drinks were fantastic.

Yes it's expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for which is high-end luxury.

Room Tip: Lodge Room 116 was amazing - huge room with fireplace and expansive views over the bay.

Every golfer has dreams of playing Pebble Beach. A forum of six of us recently played, Pebble 2x, SpyGlass 2x and Spanish Bay. We also stayed at the Lodge at Pebble Beach.
The Lodge
Is fantastic. the rooms are spacious the bathrooms and balconies are fabulous. The staff is beyond accommodating. If you want a first class experience the staff at Pebble makes sure that you have one. The food is Ok and on the expensive side-the drink prices are outrageous. I would suggest getting there early for your 5pm toddy and get a seat by the fire pit next to the 18th hole and watch the golfers come in with a fine cigar and drink. There are actually lights set up on the 18th green for those who like "night golf"
Pebble Beach Golf Course
Scenic and beautiful but not as difficult as you might think. We played in perfect weather and no wind so the golf course had no teeth. You must walk this course with a caddy-the only way to appreciate the design-a cart would be a sin.
Spyglass
Fabulous, great and better than Pebble and certainly much more difficult. YOU NEED a caddy here. You need someone to read the greens and point to where your misses can be. If you are out of position on this course, double bogey and more are in the picture. The greens are fast with a lot of breaks. Without a caddy I could have three putted 10 times!! In fact, a partner of mine putted off the green 3 times!!
Spanish Bay
Forget it. Blind shots. Tricked up holes. Weird layout-Play Pebble or Spyglass again-skip this one!

Room Tip: The "Inside rooms" are fine-no need to pay for the extra charge for a view. The best view...

Went to Pebble Beach for a work event. Amazing service, atmosphere and food. The property is beautiful. Nothing to complain about, nothing. The staff were observant and appropriately changed their routines.

Half of our group ended up standing down by the cliff on the 18th hole.
They started bringing drinks down to us, spontaneously!

I want to go back for a longer visit!

Spent a long weekend here celebrating with my son. We were treated like royalty at some of the finest accommodations & facilities in the US, or perhaps the world. No attention to detail was left to chance. Service from everyone at all times was exquisite. We had a spacious partial ocean view room with a wood-burning fireplace and a full array of amenities etc. The daily resort fee covers most of the in-room mini-bar items (not alcohol etc) but you won't need then if you eat on site (The Tap Room has the best burger anywhere) or even in nearby Carmel. Be sure to check out the associated pool & beach club while there, as well as the Lexus test drive (hint: NOT 17 Mile Drive but PCH 1 to Big Sur & back)! Also suggest staying an extra day or two because there is that much to do & see. By the way, do I really need to describe the golf? In a word: spectacular x 2! Check out the package deals if you want to save a few dollars... but this is the place to splurge!

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view. Keep asking. Ask again.

The lodge at Pebble Beach is a bit overpriced but how can you price a room overlooking the Pebble Beach 18th Green? I have stayed in the lodge a couple of times and it is a fantastic experience. Just nothing quite like it. Like playing Pebble Beach, you have try it at least once. I am going back again for more! Enjoy!

We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights. The room had spider webs. Overpriced for what you get but it's pebble. Great food at the restaurants, love the new bar look downstairs. Great improvement from the way it looked years ago. Staff was wonderful!
