As a travel agent with Spruce Creek Travel (www.SpruceCreekTravel.com), I've dealt with many hotels. We were there for my daughter's wedding. The staff at the Paso Robles Inn handled our group flawlessly. The rooms and the condition of the well manicured property were excellent, The hotel's location in the center of town, surrounded by countless restaurants and other stores within walking distance couldn't have been better. We highly recommend!

The location can't be beat as it is right on the town square and therefore within walking distance of your choice of shops, restaurants and in town tasting rooms. The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished and include a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave oven, which is quite nice. The grounds are beautiful - gardens, ponds, a few small running streams. The swimming pool is NOT for swimming - it's tiny; but it offers some relief from Paso's above 100 daytime temperatures. And, if you're tired, and don't feel like venturing too far from your room, the Inn has a steak house, cocktail lounge and coffee shop on site. We were drawn by the inroom hot tubs that feature Paso's famed mineral baths. Thank god we had the foresight to ask that the hot tub be on the terrace. It's ideally located and if you wish to bathe nude, you can draw a privacy screen. Unfortunately, when I turned the tub on, I almost died from the stench ! I'm not all that sensitive to smell but this was beyond the pale. And, even though our tub was on the terrace, the smell drifted into our room and lingered enough that we had to keep scented candles burning. I understand that some rooms have hot tubs that feature a choice between fresh water and the mineral waters. Sadly, ours did not... I'd still recommend the place, but was disappointed that I couldn't enjoy the hot tub.

We stayed for one night and really liked Paso Robles. The inn is located on the town square with restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The room was clean and had a balcony. The built-in air conditioning was noisy, but despite this I would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed here one night for a work related trip. Great location, right across from the town square with all the shopping and restaurants and the grounds seem well cared for. Not crazy about the motel/outside entry and the brown carpets so the rooms seemed dark. Rooms were large as was bathroom. Didn't use the mineral tub on balcony.

The PRI is located in the main area of Paso Robles, a few minutes walk from the majority of shops, restaraunts & bars etc. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the town but if you are visiting for whatever reason you can't fault the hotel's location.

Rooms are comfortable and clean with the usual facilities you would expect to find. The decor is based on dark wood for the majority of rooms and this gives an overall dark decor. My opinion is it gives the place a bit of character but it does mean you need the lights on when in your room. Deluxe Spa rooms are larger and have their own whirl pool which is fed either from the local water supply or from the natual mineral springs. Unfortunately, the mineral springs do tend to release a 'sulphur/bad eggs' smell. Some days are more noticeable than others but this is the price you pay for the hotel being fed by the springs. Whilst not a fan of the sulphur smell it is not overpowering by any stretch of the imagination and has not prevented me from re-visiting the hotel.

The grounds are pleasing to the eye and well maintained. The steak house restaraunt offers good food at reasonable prices. The staff were always very helpful; in fact on one occasion when I was trying to tee up a round of golf (if you'll excuse the pun) one member of staff gave me a dozen or so of his golf balls so I didn't have to buy any.

Without being elaborate I'd suggest this is a comfortable hotel that offers value for money. If you can afford it, it is worth spending the extra and trying the Deluxe Spa rooms.

We stayed at the Paso Robles inn during Jacko's funeral week. Great TV to watch it all on CNN ;0)
Lovely pool, good beds and well tended gardens. Bathroom was good size but bath had a very side which could be problematic for some. Inhospitable welcome, the receptionists couldn't get rid of us fast enough and weren't very helpful in organising wine tours. Bar staff were lovely and more than helpful. Don't feel obliged to eat in the restaurant as there are good places nearby for breakfast and dinner that are much cheaper. Free parking.

We recently stayed a couple of nights at Paso Robles Inn. I researched TripAdvisor before going and noticed quite a few negative reviews in recent months. This had me concerned since this would be our first visit to the Inn. We are pleased to report that our stay was very nice. The folks at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Our room was nice and the bathroom was big. We stayed in the building where the Ball Room is (right over the Ball Room) - no events - so it was nice and quiet. The grounds are immaculate. The location of the Inn is very nice for walking and shopping. I would recommend the restaurant Artisan if you get a chance - exceptional!

We attended a concert at the fairgrounds and it was very nice that the shuttle bus picked up right in front of the Inn.

Thanks and we will come back.
