“Best in Paso Robles”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We have stayed at the Adelaide Inn several times while visiting family and more in Paso Robles. The location is perfect for everything from wine tasting to beach combing. Even though it is right off the highway, you never hear any traffic noise. The office staff greats you with fresh warm cookies no matter what time you arrive. The rooms are immaculate and spacious and include not only a coffeemaker, but a microwave and refrigerator as well. Great attention to detail included the usual toiletries and the wine opener you know you need in this beautiful wine country region but always forget to bring yourself. During this visit, we also discovered several great fast restaurants built between this property and Margie's Diner where you must have at least breakfast. The Adelaide Inn gives you coupons for Margie's discounts so there is no excuse. There is a Starbucks open late even on Sundays, A huge Red Brick Pizza location, a deli, a hamburger place...everything you might want for after wine tasting munching. My only suggestion for making the Adelaide perfect would be more ice machines (we had to go up a flight of stairs for our nearest one) and perhaps newer televisions. I'm sure they will get to that since they seem to remember everything you need.

Room Tip: I did not notice an elevator, so if you have much to unload, request a ground floor room.

The Adelaide Inn was recommended by friends who go to Paso Robles frequently. We were not disappointed. Good location, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and quiet rooms. What more could you ask?

My sis & I had a wonderful time at the Adelaide Inn. We stayed 2 nites there & made the short trip to the beach towns both days. The customer service at the Inn is the best, they even have a "guard" cat, Junior, who sleeps on a sofa in the lobby and was sweet enough to pose for a photo with me. We were given coupons for wine tasting & food and advice for eating & shopping. The room was very clean, with microwave, coffee & fridge. I liked the dressing/makeup area outside the bathroom & makeup mirror which made it easy for 2 girls to get ready at the same time. We used the hot tub in the evening, which was very nice with towels & everything we needed. The location was great, right off 101, price excellent, staff wonderful & we will be glad to go back!

Room Tip: We got a great room without asking but the staff is so great, I'm sure they could recommend a ro...

This is a second review - after a first stay about 18 months ago. I guess my title should have just read "WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAID"

We stopped here on an overnight so we could pick up our wine for our destination wedding & reception in Yosemite NP. We were loaded down to the hilt and doing a drive-by-wine-pick-up at Opolo Vinyards the next morning and there was no was I was unpackin' the 4RUNNER and repackin in the mornin' . The staff was efficient at checkin and offered to let us park our "packed SUV" by the office if we would feel more secure. I felt pretty safe in the area and used the space in front of the room, but not before grabbing my 2 home-made chocolate chip cookies from check-in desk!

I mean, really this has to be the best $100-buck hotel this side of the Rockies. It needs to be number 1 in Paso Robles!

Everything is immaculate. Rooms, tidiness, perks, customer service, location, personal touches, fridge/micro/coffee, and what ever else I forgot. The $5 off coupon for Margi's Restaurant (next door) was overlooked in my first review so that savings makes this a sub $90-buck hotel!!! You guys are great! Keep up the good work! Will be looking for that Trip Advisor sticker I left you next time we get up there!!!

We have stayed at the Adelaide Inn in Paso Robles several times. We have relatives in the area and many occassions to visit. The Adelaide Inn provides reasonably priced accommodations close to the Fairgrounds, downtown Paso Robles, wineries, and is a great place to stay when visiting town for special occassions. They even have a friendly cat that will visit you if you are a cat loving person. All requests are quickly fulfilled. The decor is up to date, comfortable, and clean. Personnel at the Inn are friendly and courteous. I would recommend the Adelaide Inn to anyone needing accommodations in the Paso Robles area.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

Stayed here when we had a family Christmas party in Paso Robles. When we drove up I was a little nervous because the outside looked no better than a Motel 6. However, when we walked in (mind you, at midnight) we were kindly greeted at the desk by a very friendly person who offered us cookies, fruit and muffins to take back to our room. He then informed us that in the morning they have coffee and other items available and lots of wine tasting coupons.

Upon entering our rooms I was, again, pleasantly surprised. They had been recently redone and decorated with a cute little wine theme. Granted the TV was definitely out of date, but we liked that they had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot available too. Also, right across the street there was a Starbuck's - score!

They had a pool and hot tub on the premises too. I probably wouldn't do the pool just because it's set in the parking lot and people can see you from there a little to easily for my comfort but it looks like they've put some effort into trying to dress it up with nice plants, pool furniture, etc. The hot tub is hidden in a little gazebo, and provides a little more privacy.

Honestly, I wish we had planned a longer visit to do some wine tasting, etc. because it's an easy place to stay for a couple of nights if you're visiting Paso. Also seems very family-friendly.

What ever you do, do not expect the Taj Mahal. We (my wife and I) along with two other couples from Bakersfield and San Jose stayed here again while visiting the Vina Robles Winery wine pick-up party, The rooms were smaller than last time but were still clean, the host friendly, the location was convenient and the price was very attractive. (dont forget to pick up your $5,00 discount cards to magge's resteraunt upon check-in. Nice hotel in a nice location with a lot of mid priced and fast food restaurants. Overall a very plesant experience.
