“Great hotel and helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2007

Although the large building looks a bit out of place, we were very pleased with the accommodations. The king bed was comfortable, the room appointments were excellent, including the refrigerator where we were able to keep our cheese and other wine type snacks chilled. It's pretty much like any other Courtyard property, only brand new. The desk staff was anxious to please and make recommendations for dining (McPhee's in Templeton) as well as share their favorite wineries (Pipestone, Opolo).
We were there for the wine, so found the location perfect for both the Far Out Wineries and those east of town. You **must** have a car to get to the wineries or the great restaurants in town. Artisan was an exceptional meal and it was hard to not go there more than once.
Can't comment on the price as we used Marriott Reward points to book. Excellent experience and recommend for a consistently great product for which Courtyard is typically known.

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard in Paso Robles. The hotel is immaculate and new. The color scheme is a little bright and weird, but the hotel is great! Everything is very clean and new. We had a very, very comfortable room with a nice bed, a nice couch, immaculate sparking bathroom, with all the amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Stayed here for a week, it was a good 40 minutes from the airport. The hotel was very new and I enjoy the consitent decor of the Courtyards. The breakfast was pricey so I got coffee and an egg sandwich from the Starbucks in Los Osos.

  • Liked — Proximity to the quanit town of Los Osos -Free Lobby Internet
  • Disliked — The Breakfast Cold buffet was nearly 8 bucks!

We have had two business stays here and been very happy. We liked it better the first stay ( the first week) when a full breakfast was part of the amenities, but it still is the best value in Paso.

It is decorated nicely and the staff is very responsive. The resturant has a super friendly staff but a limited menu.

But still, you can get a suite here for what you pay for one room at Bellaserra. It depends on your needs but for us it is perfect!

  • Liked — value and nice amenities, good set up if traveling on business.
  • Disliked — Beds could be softer.

Just got back from two nights at the Paso Robles Courtyard Marriott.
This new four-storey hotel is immaculate, having just opened about a month ago. I got a king-bed room on the top floor, and overlooking the pool, at the AAA rate of $123/night. I really enjoyed how pristine everything was, from the furniture, carpets, millwork, to the bathroom fixtures and granite countertops. The staff were very eager to please.

The only negative about this hotel is its location, at the edge of town. Paso Robles is small, so a walk to town centre takes only about
twenty minutes, but the route is not particularly scenic, consisting of strip malls and low-rise offices. However, if you have a car, then
this would not be a problem, as you can zip into the quaint and lively square that serves as the heart of Paso Robles.
