“It's Gone A Bit Down Hill”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

You know, this used to be a favorite of mine, but the food quality has decreased a lot. Like today I had the muscles which used to come with a creamy broth--today there was no broth whatsoever. There were a lot of overly sweet sauces and not a lot of freshness overall. I thought it was a bit disappointing since it's summer. It's a killer wine list though and the service is knowledgeable and friendly.

“Good service, nice atmosphere, good food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Very attentive and friendly service and a nice patio beside the park. The food was okay - not great and not bad.

“Great Sangria”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We stopped at Estrella during a food and wine tour. We loved the Tapas, and Sangria. The service was fantastic and everything we were served was delicous. I will be sure to go back there for more tapa and a full meal. Worth checking it out.

“Tasty food & outdoor seating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

A small group of us came into Paso Robles for a wedding. We had our dog with us so we were looking for outdoor seating. Estrella was the only one that had it downtown! The service was speedy and they were happy to accomodate my spice-wimp palate. Two of use ordered the fish tacos (highly recommend!) and the other ordered the spiced chicken sandwich which she said was fantastic. It was a scorcher outside so they were happy to get my dog some water when asked. They were quite helpful with the winery suggestions as well. They even gave us a map and coupons.

“Nice atmosphere and good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

My halibut was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is in a convenient location right in the middle of town. Tortillas that came with the beef taco dish fell apart which made it impossible to make a taco. They brought some others but they weren't much better. They did take off the price of a glass of wine to "apologize" for the tortillas so overall we were satisfied..
