“Great lunch in proper pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

Once and a while on vacation we wonder into an 'Irish pub' usually I need dragged in! On this occasion we walked around paso Robles town square and decided we wanted a normal (not pretentious) lunch , we opted for pappys on entering it was dark enough to be a bar in Ireland , I liked it, we ordered some drinks from the friendly and very pretty bar lady and perused the menu I craved a chilli burger , but they didn't offer one even though they had their own chilli! When I asked the waitress if I could have a cheeseburger with some chilli on it , it wasn't a problem .
The wife had a Phili cheese steak sandwich , both came with garlic fries and were both delicious ,
The pub had a nice feel to it , with obvious regulars dotted along the bar ( always a good sign) staffed by helpful friendly staff offering a vast menu and a long list of drinks also.

“Awesome Outdoor Beer Garden”

I've been in here several times. Cool Irish bar. They just remodeled the outdoor patio and made it into a huge beer garden. It is awesome and looks great.

Plain and simple: This is a pub that serves great pub food. Fish n chips were very good. Come as a couple or a group. This place fills up fast. Patio seating available.

“Fun with a group”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

We took over the outdoor patio, and were able to accomodate the 12 of us for pre-dinner cocktails and cigars.
The place is divided in half, and so getting a drink from the bar requires you to go next door?
