“Wonderful views, great food, beautiful accomodation, fabulous hosts! Look no further in Paso than right here! Unique!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2011

We wanted to make my wifes 40th birthday very special and frankly this wonderful villa exceeded all our expectations, we stayed for three nights!

Sat on a hilltop this stunning home has the most amazing views of the Paso Valley and vineyards. The rooms were spotless, Lois and Mark, the hosts are just wonderful, so too was Beth who welcomed us to our room when we first arrived in the evening.

The Pictures on the website are as wonderful as the experience. Lois is a wealth of wine knowledge and a foody, so can help make local recommendations to go explore. There are hillside hot tubs nearby for a romantic interlude, the "Vine Line" Wine Tours also picks up from outside the door and can take you on a tour of the vinyards of your choice.

We purchased our own champagne and deli stuff from the local market for supper on two night and Lois provided glasses and cutlery (and anything else you needed). We soaked in the hot tub under candle light, played music of the IPAD, and the bed was sooo comfy! In the morning a mist lays over the valley below and you look over the top - it was simply beautiful! Breakfast was served on the terrace outside - Eggs Benedict, an artichoke suffle, juice, coffee... all yummy and that view, wow! There's a fast wireless network too if you need to sync up. Complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon made it special for everyone.

As the Villa was almost empty mid week we sneeked a peek at all the rooms! All are individual and beautfully styled depending on your budget and taste! All were spotless, super comfy beds and with individual touches that made them unique. There are some first class eateries in town but if you intent to live it up and stay late make arrangements to get back! The taxis turn into pumpkins (or vampires) around 10pm so you could get stranded. It's a great way to make new friends though when you bum a ride home as we did, you never know who you'll meet and we met a great couple who I'm sure will turn out life long friends!

This is truly one of the best places to stay in California period! Just around 2-3 hrs North from Los Angeles. There are some of the finest Boutique Vineyards in Paso Robles and we love staying in boutique hotels and B & B's. Napa can be great, but Paso has Award winning wines too but without the overcrowded tasting rooms and commercialization!

If you are thinking of a getaway for a couple of nights between LA and San Francisco, or exploring California wine country, Hearst Castle, or Solvang you cannot go wrong booking in here! We absolutely loved it and we can't wait to go back for our anniversary in October!

Room Tip: Most rooms have great views - we stayed in Italy!

My wife and I spent at this B&B and it was absolutely beautiful. The home reminded us of Italy as well did the vineyards surrounded the home. The service was wonderful as well. We had wine and cheese in the early evening, cookies left out for a late night snack, and a very delicious breakfast. The hostess/owner was super friendly and suited all of our needs. Anytime we come back, we will definitely be staying here as well as telling all of our family to stay here.. We stayed in the Italy room and it was very romantic. Fireplace, bathtub, and a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. We've stayed in B&B's in Europe, and from Texas to California, and this is one of the most beautiful relaxing places we've been to and the service was phenominal!!

My husband and I spent five wonderful days at this B&B and were delighted with our room, our breakfasts, and especially our hostess/owner, Lois. The home is beautifully designed like an Italian villa, set on a hilltop with breath taking views of the surrounding Paso Robles area. Lois treats you like family from the moment you enter her great room with 25 foot ceilings and views out the back of the room. Holly, the dog, greets you with the same level of familiarity and you feel right at home. She tends to your every need, with a delicious breakfast every morning, wine and cheese in the afternoon, and bottled water in your room each day, not to mention chocolates before bedtime. Lois shared recommendations on restaurants, wineries, and places to visit while on our stay with her. The rooms were beautifully decorated with each representing a different country. We stayed in the Italy room which offered an enormous bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub. Since it was a corner room we had the sunrise view on the east and grapevines to our south. We were so enamored with our whole experience that we have already decided to visit in the future.

Belvino Viaggio is a slice of Heaven, on a beautiful hilltop, surrounded by vineyards and oak trees. The only thing toping the magnificent Italian Villa and its surroundings? The amazing good hearted ownership that bends over backwards to make you feel loved a appreciated. We've stayed here with friends twice over the past two years and we're about to book our next trip with wine lovers from around the country. It's the best place to stay when visiting Paso Robles wine country!

Amazing 6 bedroom Tuscan mansion. Right on top of a hill on the west side of town, perfect location for all our favorite wineries and amazing views of paso and the surrounding. Lois, her fiance and their dog Holly were the most gracious hosts, we felt more like family than guests. The place itself is only a year or two old and the rooms and decor are beautiful and immaculately clean. And you aren't within a mile of another place so it's as quiet and romantic as possible! Also, we were there midweek and there was only one other room booked so it was just 6 of us in the whole place (and Holly) but it would be a good place for a few couples or family affair since their are only six rooms. Highly recommended, thanks Lois! Other tips are wine line, the service that picks you up at your hotel and drops you off at wineries (your choice) for 40 minutes at a time until around 4:00 when they take you back home and you have to eat at Artisan in town, WOW, amazing food.

My husband and I stayed at the Belvino Viaggio during our honeymoon and we both loved it there! The villa is amazing with fantastic views over Paso Robles. We went slightly out of season so there was only us and one other couple staying there, but Lois and her lovely doggie made us feel really welcome - we would thoroughly recommend staying there and would definitely go back.

We stayed in the France Suite which was very comfortable with a lovely fireplace and balcony. Lois also holds a nightly wine and cheese tasting and her homemade breakfast is yummy. Writing this makes we want to go back!!

We discovered this bed and breakfast "accidentally" as a referrel from another hotel. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Brand new building, convenient location close to town, with beautiful views of the valley and Paso Robles. Lois Fox, the owner, was attentive to our needs and extremely accommodating. Our room was tastefully decorated and our bed was very comfortable. We looked at every room and would have been happy with any of them. We are already planning to take our next vacation in this area of California and we will stay at Belvina Viaggio.
