I arrived late, JENNIFER at the front desk welcomed me with a smile ..VERY SWEET AND NICE...beautiful lobby I must say! .The room Was BIG & THE BED WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE..THERE IS NOTHING BADD TO SAY ABOUT THIS HOTEL...i didnt get to try the jacuzzi or sauna BUT next time I come back I will!. Breakfast was continetal & for bonus we had Mc donalds breakfast . NOT BADD FOR A LAST MIN HOTEL. WILL RETURN NO DOUBT!

Room Tip: 3rd floor is the best !!

Greatest customer service ever!!! We had an amazing experience and Chris at the front desk was awesome! We are in California for business and we were delighted to come back to Le Reve and relax in the sauna and jacuzzi. The breakfast is supposedly great but unfortunately the kitchen is under construction, but we look forward to trying it next time! Thanks for everything!

Chris up front was super helpful! Right when we walked in is was not only inviting BUT really trendy! Excited to try out the sauna & hot tub :)

Rooms are big & beds are great! Cable isn't bad either & we loved the breakfast - hospitality is second to none

Everyone writes about this amazing breakfast. Well I was just there this weekend and got a burrito from McDonalds which was disgusting. I guess some people like McDonalds but I'm not one of them. That's all there was, pre-made McDonalds fare. Someone wrote a review saying stay in one of the remodeled rooms. There are no remodeled rooms. The place is currently under construction, half the rooms are under construction. We were told by reception that construction did not start until 10:00 a.m., but at 8:00 a.m. the workers were there. They didn't bother us as we were leaving early, but still . . . Also, there is "free" wifi which is so slow it isn't worth even trying to make it work. We paid an extra $3.00 and got a slightly improved version. Had a problem with a psycho in the next room who sounded like he was ready to kill the two women he was in there with, and management took too much time for my liking to find us another room, but they finally did. The psycho obviously was not their fault, but we should have been moved immediately upon request. Location is good. Reception staff friendly. Management absent during the psycho episode. The room was furnished nicely, clean, and a good deal for the price. I would stay there again, but please people, don't expect a brand new room with a chef cooking you breakfast, not happening. And we were told that when the rooms were remodeled it would be maybe $100 more a night. That would not be worth it. Try Haider Baba restaurant down the street across from Pasadena City College, excellent Persian cuisine.

Front desk is very nice and helpful. I stay there quite often. They make your stay very comfortable. The breakfast is great. Freshly cooked every morning. The rooms are clean. The sheets are changed daily! Although, its under renovation my stay is very comfortable! Chris is the best, great customer service. Very understanding.

came her for an overnight-er - which was OK , for the USC graduation a few weeks ago , S. CA local but didn't want to drive back and forth from HB ..so we decided to find a room

- 1. not close to ' OLD TOWN PASADENA ' at all, unless you consider a 5- 10 minute trip down the 210 freeway . nearby and in EAST PASADENA . not walkable on the Colorado Blvd, that tourist sees from the Rose Parade route ...

2. 1/2 of hotel rooms under renovations - kudos for trying to upgrade - but really - should have close down the hotel during the constructions - so clients won't see construction men & NOISE , STOP AT 6 PM , was there at 7am. - almost every other room was next to a room under renovations ...kind, friendly front lobby staff - willing to walk us around the floors to find a room NOT NEXT TO a room under construction . found on second floor. - { husband wanted to move but too tire after a long day to look for another place - witness a single mother and daughter cancelled their room [ which BTW we got ] ...complain of musty smell ? think it was the cleaning solution in room - wasn't too bad , but daughter has asthma ? }

3. breakfast included - only 1 choice of cold cereal - Cheerios, pre-package dansh { maybe from Smart and Final literally next door ...} coffee off of paper plates/bowls handed to you from front desk staff ..- where was the hot eggs /foods others talked about ??

4. the pool and lounge area - GOOD water look clean , area tiny - not like the hotel pics ...BAD - furniture saw better days - faded, might be mistaken for a glorify hot tub ? maybe it was a spa but I didn't see any jets? but you are surrounded by construction materials for the renovations going on... and next to the freeway off ramp ..hidden though .

5. free use of beach bikes , we didn't ask but wonder if they give you the locks to go with it ? - hotel was not located anywhere I would feel safe to ride around ? - witness the local police pulled over people sitting on curb of hotel - 10 feet away from driveway ! -- as yo head north away from hotel - the surrounding look slightly better ...

6. 1/4 of parking spaces filled with construction materials for the renovations - but I guess OK since more tha n 1/2 the rooms weren't available to stay ?

7. trendy front lobby - ' middle eastern theme ?
