After visiting The Norton Simon Museum In Pasadena, CA., we went for my birthday dinner at Houston's nearby. They had been recommended to us by former Pasadena residents (she was once part of the Rose Queen's Court). We found the atmosphere attractive... a little on the business formal side. Despite reservations, we had to wait almost 15 minutes despite many open tables and staff "standing around". We ordered the Ahi Tuna which was prepared as I like it...rare... with a pleasing accompanying salad. I general, our experience was very good. However, I'm not sure that I would go out of my way to go again.
