“Worse food and service in Pasadena”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2012

After working for almost 10 years in Pasadena, I have experience many and I mean many restaurants. Other day I was in a mood for a hot dog, and this was like the one hot dog place around, so I gave it a try. Paid almost 7 bucks for a horrible cold dog, waited almost 15 min to get the food, and people wasn't friendly at all. I do not recommend it or will ever return.

“Flavor-lishous food.....order ANYTHING on the menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 29, 2012

You are bound to find something you absolutely LOVE at this establishment. If you like Kings Hawaiian Bread you're in for a treat because all sandwiches are served on it. But delve into something new, perhaps Sweet Potato Fries smothered in Blue Cheese...to die for.....come in and enjoy! And oh, the price is right!

“So good it's dangerous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

This place will make you fat, so good are the dogs and burgers. It's going to be hard to resist this joint when the Alhambra location opens. The Kings' Hawaiian bread, the fries on the burger--tooooooo good.

“Great new location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2012 via mobile

We stopped by the Dog Haus Biergarten location on Green Ave. which we understand just opened recently. Lots of seating both indoors and out. Go variety of 1/3 # hamburgers and dogs. We ordered burgers and fries. Both were great. Burger is served on a King Hawaiian bread bun, which has a nice sweet flavor that goes well with the grilled onions and mushrooms (Ava Maria burger... Yum!). We left happy and stuffed. The couple next to us had a dog which looked great as well. Sorry, didn't try the bier, next time.

“No Need to Beg, Everyone Gets "Treated" Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2012

My husband saw a write up in the L.A. Times about this place and had to try it. We made the 15 mile trek to Pasadena and we loved it! The hot dog is nestled into a delicious Kings Hawaiian bun and loaded with anything you can imagine. My son orderd the Little Leaguer (chili, fritos, onions, & cheddar cheese) and chili cheese fries. Unfortunately, they ran out of chili due to all the publicity...but they had enough for the dog and comped us with cheese fries. The manager personally came out and apologized. We loved how there are all kinds of condiments to add to your dog, without having to pay extra for - like ranch dressing. It's a small place, located about a block north of Pasadena City College, so it can get crowded. The prices are very fair. They have brats and burgers also. Great place for something different!
