We came to this place and enjoyed ourselves more than we thought we would. There was alot of remodeling going on but we managed to get one of the newly remodeled rooms so that was a nice thing. New carpets, new television, new furniture, it was a very nice experience. it was not a hilton, but it was not a motel 6. i would definently come back and stay here again!

New owners since 12/06. Friendly staff, but when I asked for things to be changed or repaired I was told to see someone else.
Why could they write a note and give it to the person?? Huge lack of training on part of management. Took 90 min to wake up the night clerk one morning to get new room key. If you depend on wireless for Internet this is NOT the place to stay. Vending machines poorly stocked and does not always return your change. Ended up leaving and paying more at Days Inn. Not the best area, lots of homeless. Hotel is under police helicopter route. Only 3 electrical outlets in room with to many extension cords.

Reasonable rate. Walking distance from Gold Line, Bus Lines and Boston Court theatre and Pasadena Playhouse. Near movies and Supermarket. I need inexpensive safe lodging. This more than meets my needs. Call the 800 line and receive senior rate. Radio really works, tv fine and room clean. Pretty shabby blanket. I love to eat at Pita, Pita close by and Highland Cafe. Elevator slow but at 70 years young I usually take the stairs up and down. Works great for my budget and theater going! ! !

I had stay at that dump for 2 nights.
At the beginning clerk couldn’t find my reservation that I made few weeks in advance through Orbitz.
The room I got seemed to be built as a addition right above clerks office.
The room arrangement was very unusual. The toilet sit was of a size for 5/6 years old. While sitting on it you can’t reach for toilet paper. This room had a lot of noise coming from a stair case and from hidden behind the wall window overlooking the main street (Colorado Boulevard).
Next day I couldn’t reenter the room because clerk made a mistake and issued to me the magnetic key for 1, not 2 days for which I made the reservation.
At the second night things got more interesting. The elevator stopped working. Through the night people were walking on the stare case which was close to my door and were making a lot of noise.
Not being able to sleep at 1:30AM I decided to go to the rest room. Before getting there I am getting a telephone call from the clerk downstairs with a complain that that my waking in the room is disturbing him and other guests. Next day I left that place leaving behind running water in the shower, sine it was impossible to shot it down.
If you are above 100lb stay away from that hotel. You won’t be able to sit on the toiler, walk in the room or use their swimming pool, which has a size of slightly oversized Jacuzzi.
