Second visit. Lamb was the meat of the day and was good. Halibut special was excellent, better than the whole fish. Lamb chops still the best menu item. Warm cake was a good dessert and a good size. Sunday looks to be too large even for two people. Really the best semi-fancy dining place in Palo Alto.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are amazing, the food is exceptional, wine choices are plentiful, and the decor is charming. I go there any time I am in Palo Alto and would highly recommend it.
agree with others that plump cut lamb chops are tender and flavorful and excellently paired with a soft rhone wine. ate at the bar and was served expertly by a gracious but efficient bartender. much impressed by how well the restaurant ran despite having a more than full house.

A perfect lunch spot, service is impeccable, food the right size (not huge servings), and anything with lamb in it is close to perfect. Try appetizers, and don't miss the Greek fries, they are perfect!

I am a big fan of lamb chops and if you would like to have decent lamb chops in south bay, this is the place to be!
It's a mediterrenean resturant with great atmoshere for birthday parties, or just hang outs.
The foods are well prepared and presented.
