“Wow - a hidden gem in Palo Alto”

Had such a good dinner on Saturday with the wife, we went back on Sunday with a large group. Both nights the food was fantastic and the place was buzzing - even on Sunday. Highly recommend

“Outstanding food, vegetarian options, ambience & service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Great ambience. Great service. Good place to visit in Palo Alto if you want different cuisine. Burmese cuisine is one of our favorites. The food was good but we may order differently next time. The tea leaf salad is a classic, but is different from Mandalay in San Francisco in that this actually has lettuce. The garlic noodles were eggless, & were also good - quite light to the taste -refreshing from the quite heavy drunken noodles you get at Thai restaurants. The Seasonal Pea Leaf was good, not spiced. The coconut pudding with mango ice cream was good - not too heavy for me and my wife. If we order next time, we may get something spicier, but very happy to have Burmese closer to home.
