“So Good We Went 2 Days Straight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

A well done idea. Easy and casual and what I love most aside from the well prepared fresh food are the color coded menus for your preference - gluten free, vegan and regular.

The Chia drink is refreshing and fish tacos and grilled artichokes are must haves. The hamburger is good but the meat is always over cooked (I like med rare). The gluten free flat bread dough is delish! Plenty of other items on the menu.

Great location and fabulous modern design/use of space --- always friendly staff and use of high tech (table tracker) - all makes for a wonderful dining experience.

“Not the place for a Classic Burger..”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

This is a cute place in Palo Alto & they offer a wide variety of food. However, I was hungry for a hamburger & ordered the "classic burger" in a lettuce wrap. Sorry, but it did not taste like a "classic burger". It seemed to have some kind of "soy filler taste to it & it was very dry. I also ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and squash. Those were delicious. My daughter ordered the fish taco's and loved them.

“Lyfe is in the right place at the right time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

Casual, family atmosphere and creative, healthy food. They list the calories and sodium for each dish, which is very helpful for those of us on low sodium diets. And they have food for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, and carnivores. The fish tacos made with mahi-mahi are delicious. I also had the grilled artichoke with aioli, which was made with yogurt, not mayonnaise. The food is not haute cuisine, and does not claim to be. It is all fresh and in season, healthy and tasty.
There were several families when we were there and the children all seemed to be enjoying the food. The angus hamburgers appeared to be a hit with them. Very nice to see all the varied diets accomodated in one place. The beer list is excellent according to my beer loving husband.
Lyfe seems to be a new local favorite, I know it is going to be one of mine.

“January Road Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Incredible food. Recommended by a friend. We had a wonderful breakfast. I had the frittata with fingerling potatoes. It was delicious. A little hard to find unless you know Palo Alto. Will definitely go there again when in the area.
