“Tasty and Original Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

Very tasty food, well prepared and elegantly presented. A nice high quality Mexican restaurant. Good service. The place to go for a non-steak and potatoes business lunch. Your colleagues will be impressed. $$-$$$

You need to book - and take a good appetite. Excellent margaritas.

“Wonderful Unique Mexican Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2011

Went for lunch with a group and everyone loved this place. The menu was so unique and everything was delicious. From the ceviche and guacamole to the shrimp meatballs, stuffed sea food crepes, and for the traditionalists, the beef tostadas. Very nice atmosphere too and not too noisy either, at least during lunch. Looking forward to returning the next time I'm in Palo Alto.

“Overpriced and Low Quality”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2011

Went here yesterday during their happy hour and ordered four appetizers and a couple of beers. We were happy with the half price beers, but were very disappointed with the food. Perhaps our first indication should have been the less-than-clean dishes and glasses (spots on the glasses, grease smeared plates). Even though the food was also half price, it wasn't even worth what we paid. The plates were very small, oily and poorly prepared and presented. The quesadillas were supposed to be three different kinds, but they were indistinguishable since they only had cheese inside and not the extras promised on the menu. Actually, one had one leaf of epazote (a Mexican herb) in the very center. The emanadas were fried :( and the fried calamari was very greasy (I know its fried, but it can be patted off with a paper towel).
Anyway, very disappointing. I would not go back for food at all, but maybe to have a $2.50 Bohemia...

“More than 5 stars”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2011

Possibly the best dinner I have ever eaten. Ever. Fresh grilled seafood with saffron sweet pea rissoto and serrano lime butter. Heavenly drinks. Fun location. We had a seat right in the front by the open windows. Can I give it 10 stars?
