As one of the visitors to Ace who brought Fido, we had a good experience. Here's what we liked...and didn't.
We liked the patio rooms. Large wonderful, private patio with comfortable sofa style seating, a good sized table and chairs, and a covered area - too bad we really did not spend a lot of time out there. Some of the patio rooms also had fireplaces.
We liked the screening over the patio door so that we could leave it open. Liked the spacious sink area and fridge. Liked the other dog owners who were solicitous and aware. (I would have hated being next to a barking dog all night. I hope the hotel helped those who were bothered by it.) Liked the cheap furniture - but only because it was surprisingly functional. Liked the platform bed. Liked the robes and shower amenities.
Did NOT like the small rooms, the decor, no bathtub, locked "dog park" (what's with that?). Did not feel we got the value for the cost we paid. All in all, it's a pretty bare bones room - and overpriced.
We did not use the pool, visit the restaurant or visit the spa, but there are other reviews here that cover those. Would we return? Only if they had a room sale.
