“Long weekend in Palm Sorings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

We bought a 2 day package for a long weekend. Location was very convienent right downtown. The room was good but they stuck us in a corner that didn't have a great view of the pool. There is no on-site restaurant, but there are several within a short walking distance

Thanks for your comments. Like most hotels some rooms are better location than others, which is why we have different catergories. I highly recommend the poolside rooms, great views and private balconies.
Thanks

I booked this hotel last minute and the booking process was seamless. The location was great for walking around downtown. The room was clean and hotel staff were pleasant. I paid extra for a room with a view of the pool, it ended up being a room with a view of fencing and greenery. I would save my money next time and book a regular room with no upgrade.

We stayed here for just the one night. very friendly and quick check in. free parking and free wi-fi. Had a room downstairs buy the very nice outdoor pool. free light breakfast in local dinner just across the car park from the hotel. only coffee and toast but ample for what we needed. very nice main shopping area with some nice bars and shops. No problem staying here and would do if we ever go back to PS

We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent...didn't have to worry about parking downtown...just walked to where we wanted to be. We didn't order room service, but the menu looked great and it was nice to know it was there if we needed it. The only negative was the pool hours, we standardly like taking a hot tub or a quick dip in the pool in the evenings, but were never back to the hotel by 10 pm. Great place overall and would recommend to our friends.

Sorry you feel that 10 pm is too early to close the hot tub. Sadly we receive many more complaints about noise from keeping it open later, so we are trying to strike a balance. Thanks for the input , ang glad that you enjoyed your stay

We stayed for two nights at the Palm Mountain Resort. The lcoation is wonderful. It is one block off of the main intersection at Palm Canyon Drive, so it is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The grounds are lovely and pool was just right. The only negative is the loudness of the air conditioner. It was in the 90's outside, so it was on and off automatically all day and night. It roared.

This was a perfect hotel in the perfect location. We stayed here as part of a Thomas Cook tour and they couldnt have picked a better hotel. A walk over a car park and you were right in the middle of the place to be. Over the road from the hotel was also the Marilyn Monroe statue which is a great thing to see and get pics at and is always busy.

Palm Springs is a very hot place but the air conditioning in the room was brilliant and let us have a very comfortable sleep, yes a little noisy but nothing you couldn't sleep through. The rooms were nice and big with pool towels provided, only thing is there isn't a safe in the room and only behind reception. The pool area was great with plenty of beds and a great place to relax and catch the sun. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly and helped arrange taxi's to take us to the Aerial Tram (which is a must!)

A great place for breakfast was just across the road called Ruby's Diner.
We would love to return to Palm Springs at some point and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for room with pool view and facing the mountains, beautiful views in the morning
