This hotel stood up to Hilton reputation. Quality in room, food, drinks, environment, pool, and staff. Value priced for all of the above. Even though we were there during quiet week days, all services were available to us. Perfect fit in giving it 3 1/2 stars.

We have been staying at this hotel for years and so impressed with the renovation. I also was very happy to have a slight increase in price rather than a jump in with room rate to pay for the upgrade with my single stay. Most hotel try and pay for an upgrade in a short period of time by raising rates 30 and 40%. I applaude management for there loyaity to repeat guests. !

Stayed for a couple of days in early July. Great location. Recent renovation looks good! Stayed in a comfy, spacious 1-bedroom suite with a sliding door out to the pool area. Nice layout and furnishings including a great tv and a wine fridge. But the service was lacking. Staff was all friendly and helpful, but there was a clear lack of attention to detail. We had to call the front desk 4 different times within the first hour as we found basic things missing (e.g. no luggage racks or towels). Each day housekeeping missed something (e.g. room not vacuumed, trash not removed). The pool staff responsible for the floating toys was "gone for the day" anytime we sought them. The breakfast waiter in the restaurant seemed frazzled even though there were only 3 or 4 small tables of guests. Food was mediocre at best.

This hotel informed me that they were a franchise and did not have to conform to Hiltons rules. The food service was very slow, there were multiple people smoking at the pool making it unpleasant for our kids. At checkout, the staff would not accept a gift card and were beligerent.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Stayed here for a couple of days during the 4th of July weekend. Parking guys are great, front staff is great, rooms are nice & comfy & a/c works great, easy walking distance to the main strip, starbucks, ice cream, restaurants, etc. Since we spent most of our 2 days out at the pool, I will focus my review there. The pool area is much better than before now that it's renovated. On weekends the poolside chairs and the ones with umbrellas were all "reserved" by early-birds by about 9am. There aren't nearly enough umbrellas despite the 115 degree weather so beware, seems dangerous to me. The pool was PACKED both days with screaming kids, college age guys with lots of tattoos standing 3 high on each other's shoulders and diving in (hooping and hollering etc). Think Jersey Shore. This is in no way racist, but there was a large group of Arabic-speaking foreigners that literally sat right behind us and wanted our shade, so they scooted up to where one guy was literally breathing on me, then he sprayed me with suntan lotion (from his overspray), he started smoking and I was breathing that in, then his grandma brought her ice chest and they all ate their own home-brought food and were super loud, screaming "Ak-med! Ak-med! to the kid in the pool). They put their dirty paper plates on our chairs, and one lady washed her hands with bottled water letting the dirty water trickle to our feet instead of over in the bushes or wherever). These people had absolutely no class and no understanding of personal space or appropriate pool etiquette. I thought I was being punked on TV or something. Management was nowhere to be found. I finally said something, and the guy just said "Saree man!" As for staff, Courtney the bar manager, Edmond the waiter, and Hattie the pol lady are all nice, but they are overwhelmed. Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Lots of confusion, missed orders, etc, and again, too busy to see these foreigners totally irritating us and not respecting people's personal space. No warnings to the Jersey Shore guys or the baby in the pool with diapers on, etc. And LOTS of cigarette butts to step on. Next day, I felt the need to spend big bucks on a cabana to get some privacy and relaxation, which I did. But that shouldn't be necessary. Bottom line is for these prices, if you want mayhem, loud college guys/foreigners, & screaming kids, come here. Otherwise, there are less-expensive, classier places.

We really appreciate your feedback. I apologize that your stay was not the relaxing experience it usually is with us. The summer holiday weekends can get very busy here in the desert, with large families and people looking to let loose a little. The activity and noise level can be elevated during these weekends, but it is not the norm. I do hope you return and give us the opportunity to turn your recent experience around.

Loved our room. We could actually open the sliding balcony doors to get fresh air. Our room was very spacious. We had a king, with sofabed and we requested a rollaway as well. This accommodated three adults and we still had the sofabed to sit on without having to make it into a bed.
