Tip 1: make sure you get the right hotel. One of the reviews below is commenting on a different place (one with a fitness room and resort charges- which the wonderful Desert Riviera has neither of)
Tip 2: Think of this hotel as an object lesson in how to run a business. They simply have thought of their customers needs and met or exceeded them all. Everything from the free bicycle hire, to the 24hr free coffee and fruit, to the superbly equipped rooms. Even more than this is the attitude of everyone who works there, especially Judy and Larry, who simply personify customer service.
Tip 3: If you want to, you will make friends. Around the firepit, sharing a glass of wine, chatting about your day and planning the next one.
Tip 4: Do ask Larry or Judy or Grandpa Bob (what a nice man) for advice on where to eat and what to see and do in the area. They will recommend you a place, book it for you, arrange for the limo to take you and really make your stay stress free.
Tip 5: Book it. We must have stayed in dozens of hotels in several countries. This one is truly something worth experiencing.
