Desert Riviera is a gem of a small hotel. It is quiet, beautifully landscaped, and excellently managed by the friendliest of people. We stayed in an immaculate king room, and our two adult children shared a huge double room, both with kitchenettes. The pool area was wonderful, and we lounged on rafts for a few hours, rolling into the inviting water whenever the heat got to us. Early in the morning, we had complimentary coffee outside our room and read the paper. There are DVDs and books to borrow, and we were within walking distance of both a great pancake house and coffee house. There's a blender in the kitchen, so next time we'll mix some drinks and take them out by the pool! The two nights we were there were not nearly enough, and we plan to return as soon as possible.
