“Nice Restaurant!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

We visited this Restaurant in a House (with kind of history) in a warm night (we never say “hot” in the Desert Valley) in May. Squeezed in a small parking space. Seated then in the courtyard, enjoyed the warm breeze and cold chardonnay. We ordered Australian Barramundi (no idea what is Barramundi, then we googled it, found out that it’s a fish!) and pan seared Scottish Salmon & Tiger Shrimp. Appetizer? pan seared fresh Scallops and warm goat Cheese salad. All good but hardly outstanding. Service was good and cordial. A happy evening/night!

“Duck Two Ways”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

The full dining experience was fantastic - the atmosphere, the service, the food, the drinks. My wife and I went with basically all of the server's recommendations on drinks, appetizers, meals, and dessert - and not a single complaint. We highly recommend their wedge salad, the scallops, the duck, and the chocolate dessert ravioli. Enjoy.

“Enchanted Evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

Thank you Greg once again for sharing the magic that is Copleys with us! We have spent a beautiful evening in this magical place every year that we've visited PS. That's been approximately the last ten years and when we someday have a more permanent home in the desert we will be regulars. The garden/patio area is truly enchanting and Greg always welcomes us like old friends (once a year friends) :). We relax immediately when we walk through the gorgeous arch and into the yard. We always sit outside and enjoy a fabulous meal with delightful drinks while enjoying the history of this special home. That is exactly what this is, the courtyard of someone's lovely home. Love the new area in the yard with those "exotic" chandeliers. :) We cannot wait to get back!!

“Good food poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

You know it is not going well when a meber of staff says 'I'll check that your waitress has not forgotten you.'' It gets worse when it is repeated! Sat inside while an event was on outside. No one seemed to care about those inside. No acknowledgement, no did you have a good meal when we left etc. Have been here before and like last time the food was good but ruined by poor service. We went to 'Workshop' in Palm Springs the week before - brilliant service. Copleys could take there staff there fo a meal to show them how it should be done!
