“3rd Annual Honeymoon Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

My husband and I decided to spend our annual honeymoon in Palm Springs this year. Upon lots of internet research and review reading, we chose San Giuliano. WOW is all I can say. We were greeted with a smile and left getting hugs. From the moment we stepped on the intimate grounds, we were nothing short of amazed. We received a tour, escorted to our room where a chilled bottle of Champagne awaited us with the sounds of the fountain in the background. Our room was spacious, bathroom was HUGE along with the bedroom. Outside was amazing with the private hot tub, private seating and giant privacy hedge that wrapped around. After a day of shopping and eating, we returned to find yet another chilled bottle of Champagne and chocolates on our pillow.

Can't say enough good things. Its private, NO KIDS, 2 blocks from Palm Canyon Dr. We stayed in the Fountain room, we highly recommend!

Room Tip: The Fountain...do it. You wont regret it. View is outstanding. Very quiet, very romantic.

We stayed at San Giuliano based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. We wanted some place quiet, with plenty of room and privacy. San Giuliano did not disappoint! We stayed in the Sunset room, which offered a separate bedroom with a king-sized bed, full couch with a pull-out bed, dining table, kitchenette (with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and two burners), bathroom with a great shower and separate jacuzzi tub, plus the private hot tub and patio seating that comes with each room. You can't beat that set-up!

The Sunset room is set back from the pool, so we really didn't see other guests. It was like having our own apartment. The location is close to the main tourist area but set back far enough that you aren't a part of it. The grounds are well-maintained and the room was clean.

The room features were good - strong shower, good A/C, hot tub worked fine and the TV was nice. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak but serviceable (and free). The only problem we encountered were sugar ants that found their way into the bathroom at night. We addressed it with the staff but they weren't able to get whatever crack they were coming in from fixed while we were there. They offered to move us for our third night, but we didn't want the hassle at that point so we just dealt with it. We're from the desert so as long as it wasn't something vicious, we were fine with it.

In short, if you're looking for night-life and poolside parties, this place isn't for you. We weren't so it was perfect for us! If we ever get back to PS, we'll stay here again!

Room Tip: The Sunset room is like an apartment, and is not next to the pool. It's also an end-unit so you...

I had the privilege of staying at The San Giuliano Hotel one night and it was divine. I LOVED the private rooms and patios, not to mention the private hot tub. The staff were SO sweet and took care of our every needs and gave us the privacy we desired. The grounds were adorable and I definitely didn't want to leave. I will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Book more than 1 night. You won't regret it.

We LOVED our the Kasbah suite! The private hot tub was so relaxing and the suite was very spacious. Great location and lots of helpful recommendations from staff about what to do and where to dine. I would absolutely stay here again.

Me and Myself husband visited San Giuliano on 8th September for one night travelling from las vegas to hollywood.
When we arrived at around 12 we knocked on the door and was warmly welcomed we did not arrange early check-in so we parked our car and went to the local shops it was about a 2 minute walk down the road, we had done all our shopping and it was around 2pm check in time was 4pm we asked at reception if they could call us when our room was ready. We were then told that if we wanted we could use the pool and relax in the sun, so we walked round to the pool which was lovely it was quite, peaceful, and relaxing. we were then told to help ourselves to the homemade flavoured water and snacks.
So we chilled by the pool where there was music playing, loungers, and floating beds in the pool.
Around 3pm we were told our room was ready early and we were welcome to the room.
As soon as I walked in i was taken back! The 1st thing that struck me was the beautiful furniture it was immaculately clean. in the bathroom we had double sinks, a jacuzzi bath, a massive shower, and a separate toilet. On the sink was a very nice surprise and there was nice shampoo/conditioner/body butter, make up wipes, and my fav bit lip gloss! For the men there was after shave balm, face cream, and snore strips (very handy).
Another thing i noticed was there was around 8 towels in the bathroom (And more near the pool if needed)
In the bedroom was dressing gowns, slippers, free bottled water, microwave, juicer, and coffee machine.... wait for my fav bit... POPCORN! (which I munched near the pool)
In our privet outdoor area was 2 chairs and a sofa which a table and lovely lighting (Moroccan style) There was two doors one to the bedroom & one to the bathroom (saves getting all the floors wet) there was also a hot tub which was very clean and the temp was just right.
With this being an adults only hotel we found it nice that we were given a number for the gate and we could come and go as we please knowing it was safe even though there is no staff there.
When we left the next morning we said our good byes to the young man on reception and to our surprise he gave us a card which said "free two night stay with a bottle of champagne"!!!!!

I could carry on talking about this hotel but I don't think anything I could say would do this hotel enough justice.

Palm Springs is my favourite place i have ever been to and it is all thanks to San Giuliano!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Kasbah Hacienda

We stayed here during the week for a few days In September 2013. Very quiet, beautiful grounds. Love that there were no kids allowed and only 8 rooms. Manager was very nice and helpful. Only complaint is that the shower and tub water did not get hot, it was just a tad warmer than Luke warm. Private Jacuzzi was great, a little too much chlorine so our eyes burned each time we hot in. But overall we will come back over and over again simply for the privacy and quiet.

The San Giuliano is a small (8 room) hotel 3 blocks off Palm Canyon Drive. You can walk to everything downtown. The rooms are spacious suites, some with kitchenettes, others with fridge and microwaves. All have private patios and hot tubs. There is complimentary coffee (after 9am) and flavored iced waters and snacks/fruit. Sometimes mimosas find their way to you if you are relaxing by the pool. The staff cares genuinely about your comfort. We were only there two nights. The first we had the place to ourselves, fabulous. Second night they were completely booked, but it still felt private and cozy. We spent an entire day relaxing by the pool looking at the mountains. We'll be back.

Room Tip: I don't think there is a poor room in the place, we checked out several and each has its own app...
