“The warmest and most wonderful hotel in all of Palm Springs.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012 via mobile

I must say that this hotel is the absolutely best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was kind and attentive and made my stay absolutely wonderful. Caesar is excellent and went above and beyond with his staff to make our stay comfortable including our dog.

“New Favorite Spot in Palm Springs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

We tried San Giuliano for the first time and we were not disappointed. The room was lovely and clean. We enjoyed our private jacuzzi as well as the pool. Our unit had the original old bathroom and the tile was beautiful. We were close to restaurants and golf, but far from the noise and crowds. Caesar and Eric were helpful as we quickly checked in and out. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Hacienda was terrific.

“Perfect for a Secluded Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the San Guiliano for the second time, and it was everything we remembered and more. A short walk from the main center of Palm Springs with its dozens of fabulous restaurants and shops, it is quiet and peaceful. A luxurious, secluded hideaway with all the perks of a 5-star hotel plus lots of privacy and comforts. We have stayed in 2 different rooms here and took a peek at a third this time - we would choose any again. All come with private outdoor patios and a jacuzzis spa, which was heavenly. We stayed in the Kasbah and had a lovely outdoor living room that was under a patio cover with a ceiling fan. The large bathroom also included jacuzzi tub and large shower. All rooms are tastefully decorated with original local artwork, and the king bed was very comfortable. In room fridge, microwave, blender and coffee maker are also convenient. The staff is great and the SG ranks as our all time favorite romantic getaway spot – we definitely will be back again soon.

Room Tip: Call to ask about the rooms as each one is different with unique features.

“The best place I have ever stayed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

We booked the San Giuliano for 2 nights as our mid-point stop off for some rest and relaxation on our 2000 mile road trip. I received a call from Eric the day before we arrived double checking and confirming our reservation which was a nice touch, as the hotel team only operate from a small room at the front and do not stay on site. It therefore offered us comfort knowing we had spoken and they were expecting us. We got there around 5pm and were welcomed by Caesar and shown around. The pool area is well manicured and relaxing with fountains and bougainvillea (look out for hummingbirds), there is an ambient communal seating area and to the left of this you can find the ice machine, and also fresh batches of lemon water made up each day for guests.
We had booked the Ranch Hacienda...wow what a choice! You enter the room through a gate by the steps to the pool and step into your own private garden with grass, sun loungers, outdoor seating area and the piece de resistance...a private hot tub! We went through to the bedroom and could not believe the size of the bed...i am 5"7 and no lie the height of the bed came up past my waist and was so comfortable it is ridiculous...fantastic! The Ranch Hacienda is the only one of the accommodations that still has the original art deco mosaic bathroom, which was so cool as it transported us back in time to the Hollywood glamour days.
Location wise it was fantastic. There are some great restaurants within walking distance and downtown is just a few minutes away by foot, however if you fancy travelling further afield there is a taxi rank just outside Lu-Lu’s restaurant which is on the corner of the crossroads at the end of W.Arenas where San Giuliano is located.
I cannot rave about this place enough! When we checked out we were told we were more than welcome to chill out by the pool if we still fancied hanging around....but unfortunately I had a very long drive ahead of me, and was truly gutted to not be able to take them up on this offer.
In short this place is amazing! The San Giuliano team show so much pride and enthusiasm when talking about the history of the hotel and when showing you around, that it is hard not to fall in love with this place. We certainly did and will definitely be back.

“Heaven on Earth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

This is a little boutique hotel that is just heavenly and better than the average Five Star. Off Palm Canyon Drive just far enough to be quiet and beautiful. The atmosphere is comfortable, the pool is exquisite with the perfect temperature. Suites are comfortable, clean and each has private hot tubs. Look on-line for full details, it is even nicer than the pictures. I love this place, will be returning many times. Only room service is from a local restaurant, but lots of places to visit, a great grill/bar at the corner 1 1/2 blocks away, and who cares about room service food. This place is delightful.

Room Tip: Each room has it's own special appeal. All open to a beautiful courtyard and sitting area, and...
