I stayed here once about 4yrs ago and always hoped to get back.
Sometimes returning to a place can be rose-tinted glasses syndrome where the place isn't actually as good as you remember...
but in this case it's more of a fine wine syndrome where it just gets better

All the positive things you've read are true so I won't repeat...

but the exceptional attention to detail provided by the owners is what keeps this place so good.

And the location is also second to none

love this place and hope to return.

I've been going to Palm Springs for many years and have stayed in many different places. I have to say that the Old Ranch Inn is now on the top of my list. My daughter and I were away for a weekend together. We were very impressed with everything. Ed was so nice and accommodated our early check in with no problem. The room was perfect and so nicely decorated. (We especially loved the colors and decor in the bathroom! The shower was awesome.) I highly recommend it! :)

This was our first stay at the Old Ranch Inn, but what a great experience.Its perfect for a couples "getaway ". The rooms are a step or two away from your private poolside patio.They are nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. Our unit had a small kitchen that was great for preparing morning coffee & toast,and afternoon/evening snacks and cocktails. The entire staff was extremly helpfull in every regard... from driving directions to dining recommendations.I wouldn't recommend it for families with younger children, but if you are a couple looking for a quiet get-away,its great.... 5-stars all the way. There is a small sign in the hallway as you enter the hotel..... " Enter as strangers,leave as friends " That says it all. My wife and I can't wait to return !!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and had great decor. The pool area was very nice. Owners were very pleasant and easy to deal with. We checked in later than planned, and we called them to let them know and our late arrival was no problem. We would stay here again!
